I had a house inspection and in the main panel I have a 20 amp QT breaker that is rated from 15-35. I have a 20 gauge wire and and a 15 gauge wire running to this breaker. Inspector says I need a 15

He is correct. I'll not go into the particulars but the fact is, you have two separate circuits connected to the same breaker. Separate the two circuits by installing another 15-Amp breaker. Although I understand your situation, please understand wire gauge and electrical amperage are two different animals. Breakers are rated in Amperage and electrical conductors are sized by wire gauge. That said, the 20 gauge wire you speak of is actually a 12 gauge conductor and the 15 gauge wire as you say is a 14 gauge conductor. Have a good day.

I have replaced the hard drive. how do i get it to go? Bought the unit brand new in sydney around 2004. have always had problems. hasnt been used for around 4 years, tring to ressurect. Cant find my...

Restore disks are, without exception, model or series specific - so giving a make / model / series number would help. That being said, hunting down something 6, 7 yrs old ain't easy (unless you own one of the best sellers). Best bet for any type of restore media is eBay - you'll want the "original" restore disk(s) which will be hard to find. . Best alternative is to figure out what OS your computer came with, go to the manufacturer's support site, and see if the drivers and utilities are available - most manufacturers are pretty darn good in this area - download them, then get a generic OS installation disk (Windows, etc.) and do a fresh install.

My preference is always the abovementioned alternative: your computer will run lighter and faster - you'll be without all the bundled / free / trial software that came with the restore media, but you'll be running without all the dated / marketing **** that your computer was originally sold with. You'll feel the difference right away!

Jvc RX 8020 receiver won't play when in DSP or Surround modes no sound at all, can only get sound in analog direct. Owned for 6 yrs. first problem ever!

I'd suspect one of the controls that would be overriden by analog direct is unknowingly activated. LOOK at the front panel and interpret every indicator for how it could cause silence. Refer to the manual for those you don't understand.

Any Tape Monitor activation would disable digital sources completely.

See page 14 for how Line Direct affects DSP modes.

HOW CAN I DEVELOP MY COMMUNICATION SKILLS?

With the lack of information i can only assume that you are referring to your written communication skills. Really its just practice, and treating people politely.
People dont usually like it when you type with all caps, so make sure that caps lock button is off :)
Other then that, just talk to people with respect, try to be a nice person, use punctuation.
Good luck!

It works sometimes but mostly never. The power is on and the screen is blank.

For anyone who still has this issue including above morris_gray,
I've encountered this myself with my first generation M-Audio Axiom 25 USB MIDI Controller plugged into a MacBook using GarageBand (G2 apparently has identical malfunction).
It should be noted that I never installed any type of software for the device, that came with the device. I simply wanted a controller for GarageBand, and I will also note that it has worked flawlessly for about 4 years on this setup, until about a week ago...

I'll provide what information I have gathered about the blank LCD screen issue as well as the controller simply not functioning correctly as listed below:
The most common way people test/fix this is to "hard reset":
- turn controller off (assuming you've kept the usb cable connected to your computer)
- hold down both the + and - buttons directly below the lcd, and simply turn the power on. Some numbers should appear on the lcd soon after the reboot and you are okay to release said buttons...
I've read testimonials, watched videos of people doing this and successfully getting their device back in action, though the reset will default anything you have saved for the device.

Sadly, this did not work on mine. I've tried several different cables- in several different usb ports- on several different computers (as suggested by M-Audio on their support page. I still get a lit up but blank lcd. I've even tried to still use it but only some awful noises come out and nearly every function just makes the thing freak out and it becomes silent/unusable/useless.
M-Audio suggests sending it back to them for fixing at this point.
Because I've had my Axiom 25 Gen. 1 for so long and I have never installed anything what so ever that came in the box, and have little faith that M-Audio will replace mine, I will most likely try to take it apart and mess around with the electronics inside as it's just a big paperweight now.
I did read that in the Gen. 1's the blank lcd could be a result of a chip gone wrong, so to speak... Gen. 2's had some type of "grounding" issue that resulted in the blank lcd and such.
I hope this helps anyone, if I stumble upon a way to fix this through my own curiosity I will inform the masses...
I'll be on the hunt for a new controller most likely and it probably wont be an M-Audio...not that I'm upset with the product, it lasted me quite a while and I've made a lot of solid songs/music with it, but rather I feel the need for something different and maybe a little more sturdy that can actually be a synthesizer on its own, not just a controller.

My acer 3680 laptop monitor is not working.. i wanna replace it by new monitor. how much it ll be cost?

A brand-new 14-inch LCD screen is about $200 US.
Some computer-stores have "previously-owned" LCD screens that will be compatible, for about $100, plus $50 to $75 for "installation".
