hi,

Does it happen for all dvd disc or some particular dvd disc. If it is with some particular disc then clean the dvd and try them. If the problem exist for all the dvd then try to clean the lens by dvd lens cleaner and try to play. dvd lens cleaner will be available in dvd stores.

Thanks,

No,the DVD players are so cheap now,not worth the money or the time to repair the thing.Parts belong to the cheap prices devices are impossible to find parts or they never produced extra parts for it.Basic DVD players,CD players are disposible machines these day.U can buy new one, around $40 dollars.

The dvd disc will not eject. disc holder is stuck

Take the top off. See if you can get the disc out, sometimes that easy and sometimes not. The tray's usually is a rack and gear drive. Sometimes the rack and gear get out of sync. Try turning the gears gently to see if you can get it lined back up. Also you can sometimes unplug the dvd for about 30 to 45 sec. and plug back in and that reset the processor. You might want to try that first. Hope this is helpful.
