At the very top of the screen you should see a black bar with the USB symbol. Drag the bar down with your finger and you will see the option there to MOUNT the USB.

I don't have a computer is there any other way to format sandisk 16gb SD card for my moto e?

Odd how the few who tried to answer ignored this part of the question, "I don't have a computer". Or the fact the person specified the item in question is a micro SD card for a phone, but people kept answering as if it were a flash drive, or a computer was related. Open your eyes people. Sheesh!!!

As with most phones with SD card readers they will have their own method of mounting/formatting a card for use in the phone. DO NOT use the computer to format the card prior to using it in a phone.

Insert the card into the phone and open settings. Find memory card options. Scroll down to mount card option. Select that to mount the card. Another option should be available or should appear after the card is mounted. Format the card using this method to be used on the Moto E.

Same thing applies to camera's... they will have their OWN format /mounting method and you shouldn't use a PC version format. As the device will have some format or parameter is requires in order for the card to be used in that device. Only use a PC format if the product specifies to use a PC to format.

When I connect my htc with google phone to my computer to transfer pictures the phone is not recognizing the connection

You will need to tell the phone to act like an external card reader. By default, when you connect your phone, it will just charge. You need to mount the sd card and your computer will be able to read the contents.

Pull down your notification screen. It should say "Charge only". Press that and it will come up to a screen where you can change the behavior of the USB connection. Select "Disk drive" and your SD card should pop up on your computer.

Remember when you are done, you will need to reverse the above steps to unmount your SD card. It is just like removing a flash drive in Windows. You do this to prevent data loss and corruption.

Good luck.

Change my SD card to a bigger space, and my phone it says,SD card blank.

You have to mount your sd micro. Click your menu key on the bottom left of your phone. Select settings, then scroll down and select "SD card & storage". There should be an option to mount the SD card. Select that and the phone will install what it needs to have on the card. You should now be able to use your card. I hope this helps.

Can not down load my own music

when you plug the phone into your pc using the USB cable an alert appears at the top of your phone notifying you of the USB connection. Slide the alert open and click on the "USB connected Select to copy files to/from your computer" alert. It gives you the option to mount the drive. Click on "Mount" - once you mount the drive. Open your file browser on your PC and the phone should be mounted as a flash drive. Click on the drive, you should be able to see all of the folders on your SD card including the folder containing your music.

if reemoving and reinserting the card doesnt help, youll need to have it reformatted....

do this by connecting your phone to the pc and opening your MY COMPUTER icon > right click REMOVABLE STORAGE/DISK > select FORMAT

**if your computer says something like 'no disk available' try disconnecting the device and select MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE > make sure the check bos for 'USE FOR USB STORAGE' is checked****

after that, set the 'file systems' as FAT32 > select START > read the warning > press OK > once complete, disconnect from the pc and try again!

IF that doesnt work, try to test the sd card in another phone to see if the sd card itself is the problem. if you still have the issue but the sd card works, go ahead and reset the phone.

My tomtom doesnt turns on. It shows the green led when pressing the power button, but doesnt show anything. It doesnt charge and doesnt show any led while on charge. I tried the reset for 10 sec (and 15...

Remove the micro sd card from your TomTom. Look at the bottom of your unit, where the copper contacts are (where the unit mounts to the windshield mount). You will notice a "cut-out" in the plastic case, just above the contacts. The reset button is there. Use a paper clip and depress this button for 15 seconds. Now press the power button, and it should turn on. Now replace the sd card.
