The cord you need will either be VGA to S-Video or VGA to RCA depending on which port is on the tv.Once you have the cord hooked up to both,You will need to switch into presentation mode on the laptop using the FN + F7 keys.

I have this toshiba satellite laptop that I need to activate windows on but I can't get on the Internet it says I can put a proxy server address and a port in to establish Internet connection HELP

To activate Windows you can call the 800 number that is given during the activation process. Or find the number online. Or call Toshiba.

You probably do not need to use a proxy server, so bypass this or change your settings in Internet Explorer.

My toshiba satellite laptop want connect tothe internet

It could be a couple things: 1. Try connecting using the wired connection if you can. If it works, then problem most likely with wireless. 2. Try connecting wirelessly maybe using a public WIFI hotspot or a friend's connection. That will rule out your router. 3. It could be a browser issue: Start / Run / Inetcpl.cpl and then check the Internet settings. Make sure there are no proxy settings set.

Proxy gone wrong

hi, lhurry....

you need to go to the menu bar... click 'tools' and select 'options' from the drop-down list. when you get the options dialogue, click 'advanced' then the 'network' tab. in the connection section click the 'settings' button and in the new dialogue select either 'no proxy' or 'detect proxy automatically'

that should do it!
