  • Significant advances in large-volume data processing technology, a completely new imaging engine, and advancements in mirror speed technology learned during development of the 35mm EOS-1v all contribute to the EOS-1D's speed and responsiveness.
  • Its body is superb: built of cast magnesium-alloy, it combines strength, rigidity and effective magnetic shielding of the electronic components.
  • The EOS-1D's newly developed 4.48 million pixel CCD sensor (4.15 million effective pixels) is a full 28.7 x 19.1mm in size-with square pixels a full 11.5 x 11.5 microns. With its large CCD sensor, the lens focal length factor is only 1.3x. This means less adjustment and compensation for lens focal length to get the results that you desire.
  • EOS-1D images can be brought into a compatible Windows computer using either the camera's built-in high-speed IEEE1394 connector, or by removing the CF card and inserting it into a card reader.
  • hope this helps you

Can't print: Documents Stuck in Queue

When a printer document does not print and all cables are securely connected, usually this due to the print spooler. This is a service that is language that tells the printer to print when you select the option to print.

In order to get a document to print there are just a few steps to follow.

    For Windows XP:

    Click on start button
    Then select run
In the run box type <cmd>
(This will get you into the command prompt)
Once in the command prompt you want to type <net stop spooler>
That will stop the spooler service from running.
    Now type <net start spooler>
It will then show this service has been started successfully.

Now select your document and reprint what you had originally planned.

    For Windows Vista:

    Click on Windows Logo
    Then select run
In the run box type <cmd>
(This will get you into the command prompt)
Once in the command prompt you want to type <net stop spooler>
That will stop the spooler service from running.
    Now type <net start spooler>
It will then show this service has been started successfully.

Now select your document and reprint what you had originally planned.

*NOTE* You will get "access is denied" in Windows Vista because of security features if you do not already have full rights.

    In this case:

    Click on start
    Click on programs
    Click accessories
Then right click on command prompt
    Select Run As Administrator
    Then just press Continue.
Now you have full rights to your computer to stop and start services.

My printers is not automatically cutting the receipts

Cutting is typically either a command being sent in the print stream from the computer or is a configuration setting in the printer to cut after printing. Also be sure the cutting mechanism is connected properly.

How do I figure out actuations on my camera?

Pre-PMA 2004: Canon today announced the impressively specified EOS-1D Mark II which features a new 8.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, it can shoot at just over eight frames per second and has a 40 frame JPEG image buffer (20 frames in RAW mode). This means that shooting at full resolution at full speed the camera is buffering 69 megapixels per second (or 100 MB/sec). Other changes include the addition of a USB port, an SD slot, the removal of the external white balance sensor as well as some subtle body styling changes.
