Phone problems and solutions
1. Total dead cell phone
Mobile phones exist three kinds of die total, die total because of
· Die alone,
· Total death due to falls, and

My monitor doesn't have an adapter. It says 12 vDC but I don't know the amperes or mA it requires, What do I do?

The supply would be 12v DC 1000mA you can even go little more in amperes like 1500mA also not a problem.

Hi power supply whent pop. PC worked on battery for 20 mins. got new power supply but will not charge. Is there any voltage protection inside and how do I get inside My Eeee900


Hello,
It is very important to check the power output produced by the ac adapter. Make sure that the output voltage and ampere of the new power supply is the same with the original power supply provided with the laptop. The new power supply you purchased may be producing lower or higher ampere than the required power to turn on the unit and charge the battery.

I suggest to purchase ASUS Eee recommended power supply or ac adapter for your laptop before it gets damage by incorrect power voltage or ampere used.

Ampers for Sony CDX-S2210S CD


If the in-line fuse from the car installation is still attached, check the fuse rating; it will state a figure that is in excess of the demand of the stereo. In other words, if the fuse has 10A on it, it was chosen to fail at currents higher than that. If this unit is only a CD player (no amplifier built-in), it will not likely draw in excess of 2 amperes and probably not over 1 ampere.

Amp is randomally shutting off


If the amp shuts down with no pattern, you need to measure the DC voltage on the power terminals.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

Since there is no pattern, you will have to watch the meter for a while so you can see the meter drop when the amp shuts off. If the meter never drops on either the remote or B+ terminals (when the amp shuts off), the amp may have an internal fault.

Confused about system


If what you're telling me is correct you're trying to drive a stereo sub -woofer with a mono amplifier. If so, that could be a bad situation for the amp, if the voice coils are not wired together correctly. Before we go too far, I have some questions I need answered.
1. Is the MA unit an M1889i?
2. Do you have the 4 terminals of sub-woofer tied together. For example the 2 positive terminals are tied together & the 2 negative terminals are tied together?
3.How do you supply 12VDC to the amp?

While I'm waiting to hear back from you, I'll try to draw a schematic (wiring diagram) of the way it should be wired for your particular setup that I'll send to you.

Missing power supply


locate the bottom of ur AP and read the following u should find these values:

Voltage: described by volts EX: 5 v or 12 v

Amperage: described by amperes EX: 500 ma , 1 A,....

Polarity: whre is minus and plus

write these values and u can buy any power supply or power adapter based on these values if not sccseeful write me ill help u more

Amp randomly comes on and off


You may have an intermittent power problem. You will need a schematic and a multimeter to the the power supply voltages in the amplifier.
