I opened the TV, but no "switch" on the PCB to do a "reset to factory". ... You almost certainly need the remote, and also the service manual that .... and I was able to get into the menu by remote and to disable the Child lock.
Very dificult to use the tv without a remote,even harder try to program the tv without one.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact remote to the original remote.
Do a web search for a replacement remote control. If you got the tv without a remote, then I'm guessing you don't have a manual either. Here's a link to a free downloadable manual.
