Good day. If you have a card reader, follow the simple procedures. Pull off the memory card from your phone and use the card reader and insert it on your pc. Now download the file to your pc and save it on your memory card. Then insert back the memory card to your phone from there open the file that you save and run it on your phone. If you have a cable provided by your phone unit, you can even use it as an alternative way, same procedure. Thanks

My Nokia n72 phone fails to start up.it says contact the retailer.what should i do to fix this and im in ghana and i do not know the retailers number.pls help

This means, your phone software is corrupted due to some instances like full memory, system failure etc. .The only thing you can do is try to hard reset your phone.By doing this, follow this procedure.

Remember that there is no way to retrieve all of your data.because your phone system failed to start up.

Here is the procedure.

1. turn off your phone
2. remove battery
3. remove sim card
4. remove memory card then put the battery again.

5. press * (asterisk) , 3 (three) call button simultaneously then press POWER ON, (continue pressing the three given keys (you can release the power switch now) until the phone open and selecting the country (you can release the three keys now.)

If still on "Phone start up,contact the retailer",just repeat the procedure 3 times.

If does not work? need to reprogram the phone and it will be possible if you bring it to any mobile service shop near your location.

Hoping that this method works...Thank you for visiting Fixya.

Help please! My nokia 3230 failed to start up. when i turn-on the button it wll only show the phone brand which is Nokia then a message will appear on screen which is "phone start-up failed. Contact the...

Try this, it might work for you. First remove any extra memory card and sim card inside your phone. After doing that, turn on your phone without those things. If there is message "Please insert sim card" then your good to go. Put your sim card back to your phone and then turn it on again. If it is successfully start then next thing to do is to insert the memory card back to your phone and then start up your phone again. But if in this stage your phone failed to start, then the memory card it causing the problem.
If all fails, then you need to format or hard reset your phone. Hold the * + 3 + green call key and then start up your phone while holding those buttons until you see a screen that shows formatting. Make sure you have enough battery power to do this procedure. You can plug the phone charger to make sure that everything will be okay.

Please leave comments for further instructions. Thanks..

To drag and drop music, photos, and videos between your PC and phone
:
Select Settings (or Office Tools > Settings) > Connections > USB Setting > Memory Card. Connect the USB cable to phone and PC. Open phone or memory card removable disk (PC: My Computer; Mac: desktop). Drag and drop files between PC and phone or memory card. When finished, safely disconnect disk (PC: use Safely Remove Hardware; Mac: drag removable disk to trash). Unplug USB cable.

These are the steps. You just drag & drop. If you need clarification on any of the steps don't hesitate to ask me. If this helps plz rate this for me. Thank you kindly.

Mobile startup failed . contact the retailer

hi,
Your phone's memory card must be infected with virus or has some fault. Please remove the memory card and try to start the phone again. If it goes through, please back up the data in your memory card and format it. In most cases, this procedure solves the "Phone start up failed. Contact the retailer" error.
I'd advice you to format your phones internal memory as well, it will flush out any errors present. save your "phonebook" data somewhere and Make sure your phone's battery is fully charged if not plug the charger in and proceed. NB: interrupting this process might render your phone useless. So, be careful.

To format press *#7370# it will prompt you for security code, enter it and the phone will reboot. Your phone will be reset to "factory settings."
