Question about Aiwa Audio Players & Recorders
The Tape player keeps on making a clicking noise when I hit play. The belts that make it run broke. Does any one know were I could go to, to get a replacement belt. Was wondering were I could go to get a replacement belt The Model No. Is: NSX-D30 AIWA

If the motor is running but the belts are not, then they are probably shot. You can buy belts by size or buy a belt kit at MCM Electronics.
If the motor is not running it could be 2 things: 1. A bad motor or voltage to the motor.... 2. A bind. I've seen the grease on the capstan bushing get old enough to turn into a very hard tar. So check the motor and capstan for freedom of movement.

Well 1st unplug it then you can start by qtip cleaning, blowing internal maintenance service. But for the most part regardless of use or age whenever there is gears, bands moving parts which in time get worn, Now this is were keeping clean extends life, So time to shop for a new 1 because repairs and part availablity exceeds the value,of your problem

I have a sony twin cassete deck and the same thing happened to mine , it turned out to be the rubber belt inside was broken so i just bought a pack of assorted belts for $7.97 and replaced both belts .

Press power button on unit to turn Off unit (standby mode) then press PAUSE button on unit and use MultiJog to set hours then press PAUSE to select minutes set.
Click Aiwa Support to download user manual copy of NSX-D30 and check page-9 for more details to set time without its remote.
Required remote for Aiwa NSX-D30 is available in Remotes.com for $38
