Question about HTC G1
I bought a T-mobile from USA, when I put my AU simcard into it and turn it on it asked me to sign in or set up a gmail account. The only menu option I can get is APN settings. I haven't activated data on my sim card yet because I only what to use the phone as a phone (calls/sms). I cant get into any other normal featers of the phone. the phone wont let me get passed signing into gmail. is this normail? do I have to sign into a gmail account before I can make calls. The phone is unlocked. I looked for the reset button at the bottom be couldn't find it. can someone please help me.
You just need to set up APN for you provider(optus/talstra etc) and then set up or log in to gmail. after that the phone works fine.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
