SOURCE: Put a lever handle on the tub/shower fixture, now temp doesn't

turn the inserted part of the cartridge not the whole cartridge, you will see the cartridge has a small flat on one side of the stem reorient it opposite of where it is now and you will reverse the direction. you can do this by removing the handle only and not having to turn the water off. remove the cap and single screw and turn insert than reinstall

SOURCE: My Moen kitchen faucet stopped working suddenly in

wow... I wish you hadn't gone thru the expense of replacing the faucet... it's perfectly good... your problem was the aerator, it unscrews at the tip of the water spout and had collected too much sediment which eventually blocked water flow. Often happens quickly after your water is shut off at the main valve. Aerators cost about 50 cents...

SOURCE: The handle is loose

Remove the plastic red and blue insert or what ever color yours is under the handle in the front. Tighten the set screw with an allen wrench. Be careful not to over tighten or the screw will break off.

SOURCE: I have a moen 7065

hey Bob

I hope you still need help, but if not I will help you anyway.

The handle has a screw that goes into a lifting cam that turns the cartiage to hot and cold. I have seen more where the black ring is broken. To fine the part needed y9ou can do one of two thing. Call Moen and they will send you all the repair part for free. IF you can not get the repair done they will send you a new faucet for free.

Yuo cab up grade the faucet and they only charge you 55.00 Not bad for a new 200.00 plus faucet.

To replace the faucet just get a basin wrench and take the water tubes off and take lose all the nuts from below. Remove the old unit and install the new one. Oh replace the water supply tubes with new one. Not worth the risk of leaving the old one in and them leaking.

Have a great day

Facet leaking

You can purchase a replacement cartridge for that... most hardware stores or places like Home Depot or Lowe's will have them. Take in the old acrtridge or the model of thefaucet. Some of them need a special puller to get the old cartridge out..

Handle won't stay up

I did the same thing recently, that is replaced the cartridge on my moen kitchen faucet to stop and leak, and I also have the same problem. I called moen back and they sent me another cartridge that was supposed to fit tighter, I suppose. I just put the new one in and it still wont stay up. I'm going to call moen one more time and then I guess I'll have to buy another faucet, but NOT moen!!! Good luck with yours.

Moen kitchen sink faucet side sprayer is stuck on

We had this same problem. We twisted off the sprayer cap to access the diverter valve under the trigger. The nylon diverter was stuck down into the cavity and was not popping out when the trigger was released. We pushed it down several times with needle nosed pliers to release it then applied a drop of household oil lubricant with the valve pushed all the way in. Then pushed and released several times to work the lubricant around the sides of the valve. After re-assembly, the sprayer seems to work perfectly again.

I have a Moen Single Handle kitchen faucet, it's leaking at the base and below the neck (where is swivels for the faucet to move side to side). How do I fix it?

Replace the "O" rings that are behind the spout portion. You will have to remove the top of the faucet and pull up on the spout section. There will be a couple of "O" rings there. It is best to have Moen send the parts to you as locating the proper size "O" rings can be difficult.

Handle is stiff and leaking at base. It appears I need a cartridge replacement. How do I access the cartridge? Thanks.....Keith

Moen products almost all have a lifetime warranty.  I know they have a website because I queried & found a phone number called them & got replacement guts for my unit for about $8.00, Quality counts in my book!
