absolutely! any audio device using wires can. connect the RCA plugs into the back of the Technics "LINE IN" jacks...the MP3 end may be a 1/8" mini stereo plug (widely available complete cord)

You can purchase one from tritronincsinc.com using the guest account and the part number RYQ0173-K for $27.39. This is the entire fan assembly.

Unplug the speakers and try it again. If it still does it then one amp channel is probably blown
If it stops then the speaker is faulty or wire may be shorting
