Easy way to empty fuel take or how can i get a siphon hose down to the tank.

Disconnect main fuel line to engine, attach hose and put other end in suitable container, run pump to start siphon action. Or, begin tank removal if that is your plan and pump is inop., insert hose into large tank opening where fill hose has been removed and use compressed air and rag into same hole to begin siphon action. USE EXTREME CAUTION!!!

Tip

Our commode isn't leaking, yet it refills many times a day

If your commode is refilling over and over, you may have a Ghost Flushing problem. Even though there's no water on the bathroom floor, you likely still have a slow leak somewhere in the tank. To locate and identify the source of the leak fill the tank and shut off the water to the commode. Remove the tank lid and draw a pencil line along the top edge of the water line. Leave the water turned off and go back several times and redraw the pencil line at the water line. When the water stops draining see where the water level is. If the water has stopped just below the overflow tube, you likely have a siphoning problem. If the water drains to the bottom of the tank you likely have a flapper problem.
To correct the siphoning problem reset the the depth of the fill tube in the overflow tube. Fill the tank up, shut the water off, and recheck after some time. Repeat these steps until the water stops draining.
To correct the flapper problem gently lift the flapper and clean the bottom of the flapper and the flapper seat. Refill the tank, shut the water off, and recheck later. If water still leaks replace the flapper.

Soap dispenser is still full after 4 trys. I ran the washer with the dispenser out and it seems that the water is not coming out of the jets above the soap dispenser, only the bleach dispenser?

Did you try cleaning up the water filters where the water hoses connect to the washer in the back? I had mine clogged with sediment one time and water was not coming out properly.

Engine will not start

Two options:

1) Drain the tank - water will sink to the bottom. Disconnect the fuel line from the tank and drain it into a clean clear container. Once this clear container has set for 15 minutes, you will be able to see the fuel on the top and the water on the bottom. you can either :
a. siphon the fuel from the top layers back into your tank (after you reconnect the fuel line)
b. siphon the water from the bottom layer - put the remaining fuel back into the tank (after you reconnect the fuel line)

2) Add some "drying" agent to the tank. There is a product called HEET (there are others too - check at your auto parts store) - it contains methanol alcohol with some additives designed to absorb water. You could add this to your gas tank but make sure it is not more than 25% of the total volume.

Enjoy !

Cleaning The Brush Head

I got pretty good results this way (and mine was trashed): Hot water first. Dry the exterior enough to tape the suction end with duct or electrical tape to get a good seal. fill from the other end with bleach. Shake it around and then let it sit in the sink full of bleach for a few minutes. Then remove tape and flush with hot water. The sides of the window may still have debris, hair, or mildew left over. With hot water running, I would alternately add water, and tap the whole attachment against the side of the sink to loosen it up. I kept doing that until i was happy with the results. 37c10874-0738-4aca-8ef6-36cc7428a263.jpg

How to change the fuel pump?

Hello,

To replace the fuel pump of Your car You will need these instruments (Handheld siphon pump, Jack, Jack stands, Tire blocks, Flat head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, Socket-wrench set, Hammer, Brass punch) then please follow the steps below: It involves 3 steps and each step is

Relieve Fuel Pressure, Run the engine until it uses all of the remaining fuel and stops running., Remove the Fuel Pump.
To relieve fuel pressure:
 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
 2. Remove the gas cap to relieve any pressure in the gas tank,
 3. Disconnect the wiring for the fuel pump assembly that is located behind the fuel filter hose, if you have a model with port fuel injection. The fuel filter hose is near the fuel filter just in front of the back tire on the passenger's side.
 4. Run the engine until it uses all of the remaining fuel and stops running.
Next step is for You to Remove the fuel tank, to remove the fuel tank,
 1. Siphon gas out of your tank or use the fuel up if it is more than one-eighth full. Use a siphon pump to siphon fuel out of your vehicle. Insert one hose end in to the gas tank and the other in to a fuel-safe container. Pump the fuel out of the tank into the container.
 2. age the emergency brake and block the front wheels. Raise the back of your vehicle up with a jack and place it on jack stands. Remove the jack.
 3. Disconnect the wiring for the fuel pump assembly if you have not already done so. Disconnect the vapor return hose, the filler neck, and the vent tubes. Disconnect the fuel feed hose, and the fuel-return hose as well.
 4. Support the fuel tank with the jack and remove both restraining straps. Lower the tank until you can access the wires and remove the ground strap and the wire.
 5. Lower the fuel tank to the ground and bring it out from under your car.
Then finally take out the fuel pump by:
 1. Using a punch and hammer, gently tap the inner ring counter clockwise until the inner cams are free,
 2. Pull the fuel pump out of the tank. Make sure not to bump it on anything because the fuel level float and the fuel sending unit are delicate and even a small bump will render the readings inaccurate.
 3. Check the o-ring on top of the fuel pump and the filter on the bottom of it. If the o-ring is cracked or dry, replace it. If the filter cannot be cleaned, it must be replaced.
 4. Then You reverse the process to reassemble the car back.
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

How do you hook the vacumn to the skimmer?

First connect hose to vacuum head mounted on handle. Put vaccum in water. Take other end of hose and hold over return outlet filling the hose with water until the vacuum floats up and all the air bubbles stop bubbleing. When it sinks again, hold your had over the hose and take it to the skimmer. If you have an adaptor plate for skimmer have it already on the hose. If you don't have one, then remove basket and quickly remove your hand and put hose down ito pipe in skimmer. You will get some air and once the pump recovers, and starts pupming, then begin vacuuming.

Liquid bleach tank WM2277HS

Liquid bleach tank? Do you mean the small container one puts fabric conditioner into for the final rinse?

They have a siphonic action. In normal use you put a small amount of liquid into the tank and when the machine starts the final rinse, water is added. Once above a certain level the siphon starts and empties the tank into the machine.

Take the drawer out of the machine, put it in the sink and slowly run water into the tank and you'll see that the level rises to a point then the tank empties.

So, perhaps you are adding too much bleach (or whatever) and the liquid is siphoning out before you even close the drawer.

Or do I misunderstand your problem completely?
