Re: CD lost Issue
Not without the CD. PC's need the software to be able to install programs. If you had an Apple, you could simply copy the program from one computer to the other, but PC's require the software be installed from its original source.

Dear. Go to your Control Panel on your Start Up Menu.
Click Programs. Click Uninstall Program. This will bring up all the program on your computer. Select your Program and proceed with Uninstall.
Log off and restart your computer, then try to reinstall your program.
Read the label on your CD. Make sure that the CD is compatible with your Operating System. If this is an older program, it may not be compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7. Be blessed.
Does the Program issue you the name of the suspect runtime library at any point? If it does, go get the latest version of the runtime from the NET, in a searchengine type the name of the file+ext. download and then copy it in the same direrctory (folder) as the one on your system now.
NOTE: I would FIRST rename the one on your system as <currentfilename.current_extention>and then add .OLD to it.

Call the company that makes the program and explain the situation, have a magnifying glass handy to read the tiny engraved lettering in the center of the CD disk. If you have some kind of sales receipt, or other "Proof of Purchase" have it handy too. You will need to tell them, you do not have the program installed on other computers. They can create a new product key for you. This method will only work if you have a legal copy of the program.
