Question about Computers & Internet
This is a new machine just assembled-all hardware is new.
Motherboard. Intel DG965RY
Processor. Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHZ
PSU 650 Watt (not sur of brand w/o cracking case)
HD. Segate Barracuda SATA 200 GB
Machine also has 1 well tested DVD ROM Drive
Memory. 2 Patriot 1 GB Modules (2 GB total)
No OS (will be Win 7) because I cant get it to stay on.
In all my years this is a new one guys. When I turn the machine on it just runs for about half a second then shuts down, then comes back on again for about the same length of time then shuts back down, then back on, then back down, back on, then back down and so on. This will continue until I physically shut it off. I've double checked thermal grease and seating of heat sink to the processor and other overheating issues and eliminated all of them, Still the same thing persists.
Any help out there guys with this problem?
Thanks in advance
