SOURCE: My 1.5 ton,LG split AC shuts off rather

Hello
First the foam insulation is not just for looks, you will have some loss of cooling on the unit, the larger cooper line needs to be insulated, the small one does not.The large line is the suction line, the small one the liquid line.
Voltage,168 is low, sounds like a 208 volt unit or 220 volt.running at 168 or 198 ac volts is going to raise the amperage causing the compressor to run hot and work harder and soon burn up,And cause it to trip the breaker or shut itsself down on high heat.Your going to need to get that voltage fixed.I dont know why it needs a stabilizer if the unit was sized correctly it shouldnt need one.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: My window AC of 1.0 ton capacity is drawing 8.4

Is the AC cooling properly?
If it is I would not bother it.
Your amp draw while somewhat high is not significantly high and would not worry me from a trouble-shooting angle, especially if it's cooling well.
Did you read the amp draw with the cover off the AC? If you did that would account for a slightly high reading. Even if you read it with the cover on - I would not worry about it, as I said above, it's just not that significant.
As far as 'low oil level.' -- I would not even be thinking about "oil" or whether or not it was low or whatever. This is just not an issue in such a small unit.

SOURCE: what is the minimum voltage

According to the Owner"s Manual, if the serial data plate says 115 volts and the amperage is greater than 7.5 amps it must have it's on fuse or circuit breaker and no other electrical appliances should be run on that circuit. For models rated at 230 volts, the same holds true.

So, the the determination of minimum voltage is based on what the serial data plate shows.

Hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

What is the minimum volts required to run 1.5 ton 5 star AC?

Low voltage will burn out all the motors Higher currents will ruin the start capacitor on the compressor and fan motors too. 220 vac is the minimum. You have to allow for inrush or start up current which most likely is the cause of the under voltage. You'll have to get a larger capacity stabilizer.

SPLIT AC CONDENSER TRIPS AFTER 1 OR 2 MINS, ONLY DURING THE DAY TIME

The condensor is not cooling fast enough. Try cleaning the condensor coil. Also check that the fan goes on. At night the outside temperature is cooler and does not need much work to cool down the condensor.

I have a Onida 1.5 Ton AC which works ok in the morning. It started tripping in the evening after 7pm, i know the voltage is low. Then I installed V guard vew 400 and then it started working properly for...

The VEW 400 I had purchased had some defect. VGuard replaced it with a new one, which works fine on 1.5T AC with C32 MCB both at the phase changer board and at the electric outlet connecting the AC.
The VGuard repair place is in Choolaimedu, Chennai half KM west off Nelson Manickam Road. Take the road opposite Bata show room on this road, you will find the VGuard service center.

That should solve the problem.

Why does breaker on duo therm ac unit keeps tripping

it can be that the voltage stabilizer installed is faulty or some component inside the ac is drawing too much current .check the breakers rating also to narrow down the problem .

Ac quits and then i reset breaker at rv park; voltage varies from

Incoming voltage fluctuations appear to be your problem. 94 volts is not enough to run that AC without causing problems. 114 volts will be o.k.
Remember, when voltage goes down, your amperage draw goes up. That will trip the breaker, and eventually weaken it if it happens too often and it will start tripping at even lower amperage's. Low voltage also will shorten the life of the components. So basically when running at 115 volts, the circuit will handle it, but when you get as low as 94 volts, it will trip that breaker due to higher amperage draw.

Voltage Stabilizer for LG 1.5 ton window type ac

You should have around 120-125 volts at the outlet. If you have less than 110 volts at that one outlet, you may need to have your house wiring checked. Go ahead and call your local power company and have the power coming into your house checked at their transformer. They should do this at no charge to you.

DURING DAYTIME WHEN HOT OUTSIDE 35-40 DEGREES C, AC TRIPs off

units are not able to work properly above 90, 1.0 T not go for more than 1 room. is outside of unit clean? if not turn off power to unit then spray 409 or simple green or something along those lines of cleaners on the coil part (soak it real good) it should cover entire coil as much as possible. let cleaner sit on it for about 10 minutes then use water hose to rinse as good as you can. wait about 10 minutes then try unit - so work better.

My ac circuit breaker keep tripping

If your outside condenser has a locked rotor or short circuit, than the unit WILL trip the breaker - as it should. On the other hand if a breaker is tripped a few times it will have less of a capacity that the rating, (this is designed in it). You will need to determine if the unit is locked (and broken) or the breaker has become too sensitive.
