You can utilize any capacity drive with your system. Depending on your operating system you may need to take additional steps to enable any capacity of 2 TBs or greater.

Vista doesn't have a 1TB limit, however just make sure you have Service Pack 2 installed. (I don't believe SP3 is necessary). you can get it free from microsoft, just do a search on the internet. The motherboard is controlled by the BIOS. Go to your MB's manufacturers site and search by your model # to get the latest bios version and instructions on how to install it. Because it is an HP it's actually going to be easier to just go to hp.com and search for the bios file there.
