Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Having trouble adding kindle generation 5 to my kindle fire account

Register Your Kindle (5th Generation)

Register your Kindle to your Amazon account to buy and deliver Kindle content to your device.
To buy and deliver Kindle content, you'll need to connect wirelessly and register your Kindle to an Amazon account. Registering also allows you to transfer purchases between Kindle devices and Kindle reading apps.

  1. From Home, press the Menu button, and then select Settings. Select Registration.
  2. Specify the Amazon account you want to use for your Kindle:
    • If you already have an Amazon account: Select this option. Enter your Amazon account information. Select Register. Your name will appear as the Registered User when registration is complete.
    • If you do not have an Amazon account: Select this option and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new Amazon account.

Received Kindle as Gift want to change from buyers name to my name? How

very simply, you access the Kindle devices "Settings" page and in the section that says register/deregister, you would click on the deregister option, once the device is online with the built-in wireless network connection. After which, the device is ready to be registered to a new account.
Please be aware that just changing the devices account registration does NOT delete any content; also changing registration does not provide the new owner the legal access to the books already downloaded to your Kindle, the original account that purchased the books, will retain ownership.
There is no way to give your purchased book library to the new owner of your old Kindle. If the new owner likes the books, then they will have to buy them on their own, to retain future downloading rights.

How do I add my iPad to my Kindle account?

How to Install the Kindle App for iPad/iPhone The Kindle app can be used on any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch with iOS 3.2 or greater installed. Installing the Kindle App Visit the App Store and download the Kindle app to start reading from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. To install the Kindle app: 1. Tap the App Store icon on the home screen of your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You can also get the app through the iTunes Store. 2. Search for "Kindle" or find it in the alphabetical list of apps. 3. Follow the on-screen installation instructions. When installation is complete, tap the Kindle icon on your device to open the reading app. Registering the Kindle App To register your Kindle app, use your existing Amazon account e-mail address and password. If you live outside the United States and use the Kindle application, please see the Using the Kindle App if You Live Outside the United States Help page. Logging into your Amazon.com account through the Kindle app registers your device to your Amazon.com account. Once you sign in during registration, you won't need to do it again -- just open the app to access your Kindle Library. To register: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to open the reading app. 2. Enter your Amazon.com account e-mail address and password. 3. Tap the "Register" button. You can also tap the Settings icon (the cog) on the Kindle Home screen to view or change your account registration. Signing Out and Deregistering If you sign out of the Kindle app, your reading app is deregistered from your Amazon.com account. When you deregister, you can't download content to the Kindle app or send purchases to the app unless you register again. To deregister using the Kindle app: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. 2. Tap the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. 3. Tap "Update" under the Registration field and then tap the Deregister button. To deregister online: 1. Visit Manage Your Kindle on Amazon.com. 2. Open the Manage Your Devices section and locate your registered Kindle app. 3. How do i re-register my kindle onto a different account

First, you need to deregister the Kindle from the old account.

Deregistering will retain the already downloaded books on the E-Ink devices but wipes all purchased content tied to the old account from e.g. Kindle Fire. You cannot restore books from the cloud anymore you purchased on the old account and access to the shop is blocked until the device is registered again. Other Kindle's on the same account and the account itself remain unaffected.

You can do the deregistration from the Kindle's settings menu --> Registration or alternatively from an Amazon web site:

Log in to http://kindle.amazon.com using the old credentials (email + password).

Next, select "Manage Your Kindle" from menu that opens when you hover the mouse over the "Hello, <Name>" link in the upper right corner of the page.

Click on the center tab "Your Devices" and review the list of Kindle devices and software readers tied to your account. Select the device to deregister and click on "deregister" below.

To register the Kindle to a new account, go online with the Kindle, and follow the registration procedure callable from the settings menu. Find a detailed description on
