How to clean carburetor on briggs 724cc engine

The best way without removing it..is first get some carb cleaner spray and gas additive for carbs..start off with adding the gas additive and run the engine a half hr or do maybe mow the yard..then spray the entire outside of the carb and linkage to remove all the oil and gook buildup..then remove the air cleaner and start the engine and run about one third to half throttle then spray straight into the throttle body..if it Boggs, slow the spay flow raise the speed and continue unti the can is gone...do not get in a hurry let the engine run so it allows the ckeaner to work..The other is to remove the carb dis assemble and clean or replace parts using a rebuild lit...your choice..good luck..
