Question about Dell Inspiron B120 Notebook
I've got a dell inspiron b120 laptop. It will not run on AC power. I know the battery is getting bad, and I'm sure it's dead now, but it won't even boot up with AC power. I checked the voltage on the adapter and it is correct. If the battery is in the laptop when I plug it in, the battery light blinks twice and that's it. The connection is good on the laptop. I've tried the hard reset, nothing. The green lights are the only signs of life, no fans, drive, nothing. I'd really appreciate the help. Thanx
I dont know why dell did this but you have to have battery to run your laptop. the ac coard charges the battery which runs the computer. I really know why but i dont like the configuration. it is so the power is clean to your computer and so the can have less parts in the laptop you need to get a new battery
