Low oil pressure at low rpms

Depending on tone and depth of "clicking" it could be anything from lifters to connecting rods or piston pins....

cheapest to expensive:

Replace oil filter

if that doesn't do it (which it doesn't sound like it),

Replace engine...

Because clicking/ticking/clunking noises while having a "low oil pressure" issue (most of the time) means the engine is destroying itself.

Why my oil light doesn't come on when my oil is low?

Your oil light is probably pressure sensing and not level sensing. Of course when your oil level is low your pressure should also be low, I'd check the oil pressure sensor.

I just put new batteries in my Omron HEM-780. Doesn't work. When it finishes deflating it always says E7. What's going on?

Hi library336

The Omron HEM-780 generally has 5 Error Messages:

1]
ERROR MESSAGE: A single (E) Error message indicates movement during the measurement process, resulting in an inconclusive reading or the absence of a Blood Pressure or Pulse reading caused by a weak Arterial Pulse.

SOLUTION: Remove the cuff. Wait 10-15 minutes. Repeat measurement using approximately 40mmHg more pressure than in the previous measurement.

2]
ERROR MESSAGE: A Double (EE) Error message indicates an under-inflated cuff. Remove the cuff. Wait 2-3 minutes.

SOLUTION: Repeat measurement using approximately 40mmHg more pressure than in the previous, under-inflated measurement.

3]
ERROR MESSAGE: An E directly below another E Error message indicates an over-inflated cuff (in excess of 300 mmHg). Remove the cuff.

SOLUTION: Wait 2-3 minutes. Repeat measurement using approximately less pressure than in the previous, over-inflated measurement.

4]
ERROR: A Blank Screen indicates low or depleted batteries.

SOLUTION: Remove and replace all 4 AA Batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries.

5]
ERROR MESSAGE: An (Er) Error Message indicates an abnormal memory function caused by a faulty internal component.

SOLUTION: Call Omron Customer Service, Toll Free, on (in the USA) 1-800-634-4850 (or on the equivalent Toll Free or Freefone Number in your country).

I hope this helps.

I own a 2000 Chyrsler Voyager 3.3 liter-V6 which is just about to roll on 120k miles. Two weeks ago my oil light would come on and ding repeatedly when I came to a stop at random times. I got an oil change...

Two possibilities, either you have a bad oil sending switch or you may have an oil pump that has worn out. I would try to replace the oil pressure sensor first, it's the easiest and cheapest.

Does the ac triple pressure switch have a valve to stop freon from releasing when you change it?

No... it's just a pressure sensor switch. If the pressure is normal range, it maintains that connection... if the pressure drops below a predetermined threshold, then it sends that signal to the engine control module and the a/c control module.. if the pressure rises above a predetermined thershold, it also sends this signal to the engine control module and the a/c control module.

Conclusion: High pressure - AC doesn't operate... shuts down
Low pressure - AC doesn't operate.. . won't come on
Normal Pressure - Normal Operation

I want to purchase an extension cable for my web cam C905. What specs do I use? What do you recommend? I want to mount it about 20 feet from my computer.

You want a cable with a signal repeater to make sure the signal doesn't time out as USB can do at long ranges.
Try this 32 foot cable with signal repeater, pretty cheap at 14$, and Amazon is a reputable seller, and generally has good return policies should it not work.

Another solution for low latency extension is USB over CAT5 adapters, but would probably be pricier. CAT5 cable is low resistance so the response time does not degrade over distance as easily.

Can 2001 a4 quattro low oil light be reset

No, it goes out when the oil level is read to be correct. If you have the right amount of oil in the car, your pressure sensor is bad or you have oil sludge blocking the pickup tube at the oil pump. Run some Seafoam in the oil for 100 miles and then change the oil and filter (or if the pressure light stays on, add half a can of Seafoam and idle it for 20 minutes before changing the oil). Repeat 2-3 times and see if it goes away. If not, change the pressure sensor (on the oil cooler - the aluminum block the filter screws onto). If this still isn't a fix, you need a desludging kit from www.ecstuning.com. If THAT doesn't fix it, drop the oil pan and change the pickup tube and filter screen, clean out the pan, and repeat the Seafoam treatment.

Low oil pressure light keeps coming on

check if there is too much oil. over filling the engine with oil causes the oil to foam which leads to loss of oil pressure. it could also be the oil pressure sensor
