Hi,
I just bought an HP Monitor (HP 2009m)and like so many other people who complian of low sound (barely audible) I suspect the sound card on the older Dell Optilex is the problem. Would appreciate any advice on this subject.
Thanks in advance,

Hello I have just purchased a Tascam US-144, and connected my MIDI keyboard to my MIDI-in port. I have recorded a little through my Cakewalk Sonar 7. And it seems to record. But it won't playback. Neither does the MIDI metronome or if I try to playback a .mid-file. Do I have to connect my Tascam to an external MIDI audio unit? I just thought that the Tascam could playback the recorded MIDI signals. At least that's what my old sound card could do...it could play .mid-files and make my MIDI metronome have sound. Note : I am a novice on MIDI. So I guess I'm doing something wong... but what? - Mats Magnem
