Scan your complete system with any good antivirus software such as Norton and quarantine or delete the virus found.

You can scan your system online from the below norton link:

I don't recommend Norton by experience, yes I suggest remove it and use AVG, to remove it go to control panel and programs and features, and click on norton and remove thats for vista, on xp its simular go to control panel and add/remove programs, thats my recommendation, Norton seems to like to take over whole computer, cause drama's with other programs, thats by first hand experience

    welcome

Also Norton you have to pay for subscription eventually and AVG you don't and AVG has removed viruses that norton couldn't obviously by whats happened to you, proven once again!!!!, also as I said avg free version is completely free, with free virus definition updates

    Question of yours,

i have a ibm desktop thats running very slow.it has 2 256mb ram and i want to add 1 512mb ram to it.is it compatible?how do i choose the right memory?please help.thank you.

    Solution,

ok you cant fill 3 slots out of the your 4 ram slots ok , its either, 2 slots or 4 slots so if you want to upgrade to 1gb, get rid of your 256mb chips they will slow you down and are obsolite now, best be you upgrade your ram with 2 x 512mg chips to make 1gb ram or 2 x 1gb chips to make 2gb ram ok, or you could go 4 x 1gb chips to make 4gb ram or 2 x 2gb chips to make 4gb ram, going over 4gb won't make a huge difference to the speed of pc but going from your 512mg ram system to 2 gb or even 1gb will make sure your ram chips are the right type for your motherboard best bet would be take out the 256mg ram chipst carefully, making sure your not on carpet when you do so to prevent static electricity damaging the ram and to go into you local or trusted computer warehouse or shop and buy the right type ram making sure you get the correct type. ie DD2 or DD3 type ram, check on your 256mg ram label better bet take them in the shop with you and ask someone who knows, please note in computers you need to either fill 2 or 4 ram slots with ram for the computer to work, you can't fill 3 slots ok, now you could also fill your slots with 2gb or I think 4gb chips too, more expensive though, speeds up computer by having more ram but as i said going over 4gb won't make much of a difference, I am very happy to help you for free but please make sure you rate my solutions and advice where our website asks, thankyou.

Internet opens briefly then closes. I think my IE7 is corrupt but I cant reinstall because I cant get the internet on the computer to start up. GRRRR Oh I also have a trojan on the computer i am currently...

your issue is very likely to be caused by the trojan virus. If you have avast antivirus or have someone that can download it for you then you should be able to get rid of the trojan and resolve the issue with your IE7.

How do i get rid of a virus. i norton on my

Hi !
I think easiest way to get over the problem is to uninstall 360 and reinstall it. You can use Reveo uninstaller(Free software) to uninstall it will give you chance to get rid of registery entries for 360. Use moderate settings.
you can download software from following URLhttp://www.revouninstaller.com/uninstaller_help_page.html

Hope this helps.
Thanks!
