Panasonic Mixer/Blender not working - works only when tapped
Model: Panasonic MX-216e Mixer or Blender
I bought it in India about a year ago. It was working great until a week ago. Last week we started making some vegetable juice and with in a week it started to have problems. Looks like the motor does not run. But if I tap it kind of works for a few seconds and stops again.
Some details: We were running at at low speed as we thought its good to blend hard vegetables like carrots. Now, I read somewhere that you need to run it at high speed for hard vegetables.

It looks like there may be some loose wire connection. Or it may be due to carbon brush probelm. We at Inno Concepts or any of our dealers can diagnose and fix the problem for a reasonable cost. Please contact us at 770-594-1815 or send us an email with all the details to email@example.com
For grinding hard vegetables, use thinner pieces not more than 1/2" in any dimension.

Nothing different between blenders working in US then Colombia. Your blender is defective. Bad luck you bought it in US and never tested before taking it to Colombia. Well, actually a blender can work with just one speed!
I have the same problem with Butterfly Ivory Plus mixer in India.... The mixer went off with over load. I pressed the reset button, but still the mixer wont start. Looks like a common prob with butterfly mixers.
It could be the drive belts. There are three. One for the motor to the belt drive. one from belt drive to bowl mixer spindle. one from belt drive to mixer spindle. mine started to do the same thing. I ordered the belts from Bosch.
did u check it( i mean whether it was working) in india if not look in to the warranty period and find out what u can do.. i have bought the same mixer and i'm going to take it to finland in a couple of months.. at present in india its working fine.. and one more qn is it the first time that it's not working.. or it stopped working.. coz too much of rotating might even harmed the mixer.. remember for this mixer it should not go more than 3 min..
Hi VARSHA0803 - You would think that KA would make a 220-240v mixer for overseas sales, but I do not know if they do. You can contact KA Customer service directly on their website at: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/customer-service/ Check the "Contact Us" box which provides you a toll-free phone number, or if you scroll down you'll find a 'Live Chat' link, where you can 'chat' online with a KA assistant who should be able to answer your questions.
I hope this helps. Good Luck! Howard from Burke, VA

I used to live in Mtn. View on Bryant St. next to the P.G.&E office, great town.
I have had appliances go as long as twenty years and never had the brushes go out, but it sounds kie that is your problem alright, this is very unusual I would contact Panasonic and see what they will do for you there is usually a one year parts warranty on small appliances, call them you have nothing to lose. I would call this a factory defect.
If you bought this mixer less then 1 year ago, call KitchenAid at 800-541-6390. They have a "hassle-free replacement" warranty. They should ship you another mixer. I bought one recently and it died after 3 days of use. I called and they are sending me a new one. However, it is not comforting that these mixers fail so quickly. KithenAid use to be made a product to last many years. I assume the quality has declined. Good luck!
its possible that you got a lemon off the factory line or they forgot to put grease into the transmission case.is there a warranty on it?if so take it back.i work for hobart which sold kitchen aid some years ago,if that mixer is less than a year old as stated, take it back or verbally speak to a kitchen aid rep. and tell them your situation.i really belive you should be able to get a replacement as long as you havent overloaded the unit or caused damage.let me know.
