Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have the Canon 650D and my access lamp is red and blinks at times. Usually when i take or view an image. I googled it and it told me to format the card. I did that and now my card is empty with no images, and it's still red. I also charged the battery and and took it out (both battery and card) and put it back in a few times. Also used a different card but had the same results. I've had my camera for at least a year and haven't used it as much. I just know that my access lamp should be green. Is it being red and usually blinking a problem?

Formatting the card (as it will say in the menu and on the on-screen instructions when you perform this action) deletes all the data currently resident on the card. You may be able to use data recovery software to retreive them.

SOURCE: Infocus 4805 blinking red light problem

My first questions is:

Is this the first lamp you have placed into your Infocus pj? If not, did you reset the hours when you did it last time? Otherwise that can also confuse the projectors internal system thinking there is NOT a new lamp in there and there for make it stop working once the clock hours are expired and over the 3000-6000 suggested hour life.

Let me know so I can help trouble shoot other possible problems.

Change the screen resolution. The video card or video display may not be compatible to the supported video setting of the monitor. Try changing the video resolution to a lower setting such as 1024x768 and bit depth to 32 bit.

Check your color wheel. There is a DIY guide for replacing the color wheel. Mine did the same thing yours is and my color wheel was all busted up. Unfortunately after replacing the color wheel my set continues to do the same thing, but this could mean I need to replace the ballast as well.

SOURCE: kdf-50a11e blink 3 time on red

Three flashes indicates either the lamp is not seated correctly or the lamp door is not on properly. I bet its the later of the 2 as THE most common issue is the lamp door has warped because of excess heat building up in the lamp cage. If this is the case follow the link I am providing as you are in luck as Sony is paying for those repairs. Please take a moment to rate my answer...Thanks

Why is red light blinking

The red lamp you are referring to is called the Access Lamp. This lamp usually illuminates if the camera is reading or writing information to the memory card. If this is blinking erratically, this could indicate an issue with the memory card. It is recommended that you try using another memory card with the camera to isolate the issue

In Focus LP 640 won't even turn on? Any help

There are several reasons this could happen, and can usually be identified by glancing at the Power LED. The following applies to this particular projector:

1) Blinking RED led- Lamp or fan failure. Usually this is a bulb issue and simply needs the lamp replaced and the lamp life hours reset. Below you will find an image from the owners manual that will allow you to translate the # of times the LED blinks into a problem/solutionrobertsager.png
2) Solid Red LED means unidentifiable error. You will need to contact customer support at that point to schedule service.

I just replaced the projection lamp and i cannot see an image. green power light goes on for a few seconds then goes back and clicks back to red

HOW MANY TIMES IS THE RED LED BLINKING? IF IT IS BLINKING 3 TIMES MAKE SURE THAT THE LAMP DOOR YOU TOOK OFF TO CHANGE THE LAMP IS INSTALLED BACK ONTO THE TV AND IS SECURE.
