First you have to leak test it

If you have lost refrigerant, may as well
buy a new one

ALL refrigerant work has to be done
by trained people

NO Refrigerant products come with provision
to attach hose gauge assy

You have to add clamp on or solder on line taps

Not worth doing & if it has R22 it has been band
as of Jan 2014

My car didn't take the R-134a

If your car ac is not taking in refrigerant, it could be caused by several things.
If you have recently done work on the system and you are going to fill the system the first time, you will need to pull a very deep vacuum before trying to charge in refrigerant. If you have already properly evacuated the system and having problems getting the correct charge adjusted, you may be having problem with pressure equilizing between the refrigerant source and your ac system. To get the refrigerant going again, you need to connect the charging hose on the low pressure side of the ac system and turn the fan and ac on cool. The pressure in the ac system on the low pressure side will get lower than the pressure in the refrigerant container and flow will start. When charging initially, charge liquid on the high pressure side and with the ac system running, charge gas on the low pressure side. To charge liquid, invert most container so spout is down, to charge gas, keep container right side up. Charging by gas help you to not over charge your system. Beware on most vehicle ac systems the suction and discharge connections are two different sizes and require the proper adapter. If you still having problems creating a pressure difference to move refrigerant, you can try immersing the refrigerant container in warm water or applying warm air to the exterior of the container.
Hope this helps.

Cooler keeps freezing product

You killed the messenger! The refrigerant charge is probably the problem. The thermostat senses the coil temperature and not the cabinet temperature. If somebody put gas in it, the gas has to be removed, a vacuum drawn on the system and then the refrigerant charge weighed in by the ounce. It takes a critical charge and needs to be weighed in by an accurate scale that weighs in ounces. Hope this helps and good luck.

Wine cooler too cold

The 2 @ 47 degrees may be low in refrigerant gas. Refrigerators are design to operate with an exact amount of gas. When the gas charge gets slightly low the system will operate colder for a time and when the gas charge loses a couple of ounces the system stops cooling. Another cause may be the thermostat isn't operating properly and or the temperature sensing bulb may be too close to a source of heat.

What happens if you would add a charge to a running system that has a low charge on a 404a system and you charge thru the suction as a vapor. I had a memory lapse and have charged 410 systems as a liquid...

as long as you recovered the charge, pulled a vacuum, changed the filter/dryer, and added the correct amount of refrigerant as a liquid, you should be good to go.

My freezer is not working

Check compressor working. If not try with replacing relay. If compressor working, check warm in condenser coil by keeping your hand. If warm, check whistling sound in freezer. If no warm gas leak. If warm and no whistling sound in freezer, chocked system.
For gas leak find leak and arrest. Then vacuum and do gas charging.
For chock, release all gas, flush out system, replace filter drier, vacuum and do gas charging. Call professional repairman to do it. Thanks.

I have one and half year old Kenmore refrigerator. Model 106.58902802. Now suddenly refrigerator portion of it stopped working. All the ice cubes melted. Can you suggest what could be wrong?

Check compressor working. If yes, keep your arm on discharge side. It's warm and whistling sound (nicely) inside the freezer means it's working well.If no warm in discharge side, gas leak or chocked. Remove all gas, leak test and flush out the system. Then do gas charging.

Need ref charge in ozs suct press at temp for superba 42

Refrigeration charge in grams will be found on the label with the model number and serial number. The type of refrigerant is also on this label and the type of refrigerant which is more than likely 134a. You can weight the gas in or you can charge to 10psi, then run unit and adjust up or down as required.

Can you add 134a freon to a Dehumidifier?

why do you want to put gas into your dehumidifier????????. this only needs to be done if there has been a leak and in that case you need to cure the leak first. you should use a vac pump as well to clear the charging line of gas. ideally, you should degas the appliance first and charge with the correct amount of gas.. the type of gas you need should be on the rating plate and is not necessarily r134a. gas goes in on the low pressure side and for this you can use either the charging stub (piece of pipe which is blanked off) or the low pressure pipe which is the larger diameter pipe of the other two. any refrigeration needs the correct amount of the correct gas.
