a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have the same Make and Model printer as youself. I just put the printer on program mode (neither of the two lights lit on Font) Typed six different Fond styles within microsoft word and it printerd every one correctly.

This product is no longer supported by Panasonic. It is the same model number as mine and I bought mine used in 1989, that had been hooked up to a Commador 64. I doubt that a MAC driver was ever written.Without a driver , hardware does not work, Sorry.

Check this link:
You could always use a generic/text driver too.

There are two issues here. One, the printer prints bi directional in text mode and uni in graphics mode. So go to the Control Panel->Printers. Right click on this printer and select Properties. Here you may be able to set up for bidirectional printing.
Two. The Panasonic site says that it can activate all features when using the Windows 3.1 drivers (older than ancient in todays computer world). And 3.1 drivers will work only with Windows 3.1. What is yours?
