Not sure about this model but generally Husqvarna transmissions are sealed for life and are not user serviceable. They rarely fail so if you are having transmission problems, try a new drive belt and make sure all the pulleys are clean.

Should I change automatic transmission oil on my 2004 kia sedona?

forget the friends advice
automatic oil should be light tan or cherry red depending on the brand of oil used
the oil should be changed around the 60,000 klm mark and done by accredited transmission shops
If you have a CV-transmission that requires a special oil (not auto transmission oil as they are not automatic transmissions --they have a belt running between variable pulleys which gives the impression that it is automatic but it is not)

How do I change the oil in a sealed transmission such as the one in the HGT2654?

You cant. Its sealed for life. They rarely need maintenance, if your transmission is giving problems, first try changing the drive belt.

Transmission oil change

I take it you are talking auto transmission. Un do the drain plug in the box sump or if you do not have one remove the sump. replace filter in the sump . replace the sump with a new gasket and refill the sump. IF there is nothing wrong with the transmission and you only want to change the oil the best practice is to take it to a auto transmission shop where they can change the oil with the engine running and this changes the oil in the torque converter as well giving you a complete oil change. IT is more expensive as more oil is used but it changes all the oil and not just a part of the system. If your are talking manual, then remove the drain plug in the bottom of the gear box and when all the oil is out replace the plug tightly and remove the filler plug in the side of the box. Add oil until it runs out of the filler hole and when it stops replace the filler plug tightly. Use the correct grade of oils in both cases.

While i was doing off road driving a warnning light (a/t oil temp) turn on, i looked underneath the car and i found oil leak drop after drop, not too sure now should I change the transmition oil and filter...

Change the transmission fluid and filter. The light says fluid temp. is high, so you may have some burnt fluid-deadly for transmissions. Drop the trans. pan and look for metal shavings-too much will indicate failure of transmission parts. If not too much, you may be alright with fluid and filter change.
Stop the leak,. make sure it is trans. fluid, not motor oil. If motor oil, stop the leak and change oil and filter. I would do the transmission regardless, since the light came on.

I have an 04 fxstb. How often does the tranny oil have to be changed, and how much does it hold

The transmission oil should be changed every 5,000 miles or yearly. The "yearly" change interval is to prevent water buildup in the transmission due to condensation. If you get condensation in the transmission, the oil will float on top of the water. With the water on the bottom of the transmission, you won't detect it by checking the oil dipstick. I've seen many a four speed transmission worn out due to this. Haven't seen a five speed yet but I'd be willing to bet they aren't far off. The transmission holds 20-24 ounces of oil. Drain, refill, stand the bike up straight and check the level with the dipstick. If you think changing your transmission oil every year is too expensive, look at the price of a quart of oil and the price of rebuilding a transmission. I think you'll think the way I do.

Good Luck

Should I have the oil in transmission changed?

I would not go by the oil change company recommendation.
It's much better to go by the car manufacturer's recommendation. Look in your owner's manual for the recommended time/mileage to change the transmission oil and filter.

\'93 Hyundai Lantra, automatic transmission has trouble changing up from 1st to 2nd, it tends to rev on a bit, clunks once or twice before changing to 2nd, other gears seem to be ok. Oil levels are ok and have recently replaced the transmission oil (yes the correct oil was used)

Looking for when the oil and transmission should be changed on Lt

Hey,

Many manufactures recommend a engine oil change every 50hrs more often in extreme conditions,

Most transmissions are sealed units if this is the case company's recommend not to touch these,

If you have a hydrostatic drive or a Zero turn unit with twin hydrostatic drives the transmission oil must be changed every 500 hours or every year whichever comes first as the hydraulic oil brakes down in time, also at these intervals the hydro oil filter must also be changed...

How to replace transmission oil

to replace the oil on your transmission is not that hard but as a auto technician I should advice you that if on any vehicle the transmission oil has never been changed and is a high millage vehicle by changing the oil the transmission can slip or go neutral you should take your vehicle to a transmission shop and have the oil changed there with special oil changing machine that would clean the transmission and converter while it replaces the old oil and if there's a risk on damaging the transmission then they will tell you before changing the oil on your transmission and if they change the oil and any problems should happen then they are responsible for your transmission but if you insist to change it your self by removing the oil pan on the transmission you let all the oil out some of these Japanese vehicles have a drain plug you can take the brain plug out then remove the oil pan once you remove the oil pan then you'll see the transmission filter with socket wrench using a 10 mm socket remove the filter and the same way replace it with the new filter don't over tork the screws tighten to 15 lb. then remove the old oil pan gasket and make sure by doing all this process everything is extra clean, clean out oil pan and replace gasket and install oil pan then after you finish pour in 3 qt. of good quality transmission oil then turn on engine and take the shifter to R then D and last N and with engine on check the level and add as needed good luck
