I reset my new Cash Register to Factory and clear all the RAM. I noticed that RAM 1:OK, RAM 2:OK, RAM 3:NG and RAM 4:NG. I downloaded ALL Programs successfully, but when run a transaction and pressing SUBTL it says "Warning Check Open Err". When press TOTAL then register opens.
But when I tried to run X or Z report (3-SUBTL)it says "Warning Check Open Err".
I used the same file to download on 32 others Registers, they work fine...
How to fix this one Register?
Is this because of the RAM 3 & 4?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

EJ stands for Electronic Journal. The ej is a record of all the sales made on the till since the last time the ej was cleared. If you dont clear it then it eventually fills up and stops the till from working until it is cleared. I dont have a manual for this model but there will be a report to print and clear the ej in your manual.
"Z" (Prints End-of-Day Management Reports and Resets Totals) - Prints the "Z" management report at the end-of-the-day and resets totals to zero (except "locked-in" grand total). To print Management Reports, slide the control switch to the "X" or "Z" position as needed, then press the [amt tend/TOTAL] key. Refer to explanation starting on page 37. "X" AND "Z" SALES MANAGEMENT REPORTS __________________________________________________________________ Transaction data is maintained in the memory of the cash register as long as the battery back-up system is in effect. This data can be printed as a report for management review. The Management Report can be printed from either the "X" or the "Z" position on the Control Switch. "X" POSITION REPORT (Refers to a mid-day reading) The "X" position report prints the accumulated information and RETAINS ALL TOTALS IN MEMORY. Use this position to print periodic readings of transaction information at any time through-out the day. (Some users call the X-report a mid-day report). "Z" POSITION REPORT (Refers to an end-of-day or close-out reading) The "Z" position report prints the same information as the "X" report. However, once this report is printed, ALL TRANSACTION TOTALS ARE RESET TO ZERO except the Grand Total. (Some users call the Z-report an end-of-day report). NOTE: To prevent accidental printing of the "Z" report, set the security code as explained in the SECURITY CODE section. Once this code is set, a "Z" report will not print until the security code is entered. If a "Z" report is attempted without entering the security code, the prompt "SEC Code" will appear in the display.
PRINTING THE SALES REPORT IMPORTANT: Once a "Z" reading is taken, it cannot be duplicated, so be sure to have plenty of paper in the register. 1. Set the Control Switch to either the "X" or "Z" position. 2. Press the [amt tend/TOTAL] key. NOTE: If a security code has been assigned, be sure to enter the security code before pressing the [amt tend/TOTAL] key. TO CLEAR THE GRAND TOTAL: 1. Set the Control Switch to the "prg" (Program Mode) position. 2. Type , type , then press [RA]. After this operation, the grand total resets to zero.

There is a good reason why they don't want you to clear the whole memory. You will lose country, tax, monetary settings plus lots of dealer settings. It is best to edit the old program to suit your new business. It will be much easier and quicker. To reset the report, turn to Z mode and press CASH. That will clear out the last daily report. The only thing you can't clear is the grand total. That is a security issue, so it always keeps adding, but you don't need it. Your other figures will be correct each day. Some machines allow you to turn the GT printing off if it annoys you. ------------------------------------------------- If anyone needs more information, the Casio TE-2000 manual is here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2000_users_and_programming_manual.html
In that case, you want to check that you have linked them correctly.
Turn key to program.
6 CASH CASH
This should print the status details for the first 6 PLUs. Check to see that the department link is the way you programmed it.
Hi. On most machines, the Grand total is non resettable and is just ignored if you don't want to track the total sales of the machine long-term. It should not affect the daily totals. The rest of the report should reset at the end of the day. If you don't see CASH totals and departments etc returning to zero, then there is another problem. If you still want to try to stop the GT on the reports, tell me the brand and model number and I'll see if it can be forced from the report.
It sounds like the guest check memory is full due to too many items in the tables. This is usually caused by people opening tables, filling them up and never finishing the table.
The easiest way to overcome this is to reset all tables.
Note: This will clear any current sales you have in tables, but should fix the error.
Turn key to X1/Z1
25 CASH CASH
If it gives an error, then try 25 CASH 1 CASH
It should print an open check/table report and show you which tables were taking up the memory. It will clear the sales out of those tables.
Now turn back to REG mode and try it.
