Question about RCA RTD207 System
I think youre problem is the door-switch. it must be somewhere near the door,
in some drives it`s a microswitch but on most of them it is a simply switch made of 3 small tin-blades which will be pressed together when the door closes or opens.the middle one will get moved.
most of home cinema player`s uses this kind of switch, you should be able to fix it by youreself.
carefully clean the contact`s with a thin felt e.c.t.
then bend the 3rd. contact a little bit towards the middle, 1mm between the contact point`s should be good.
if door is open the 1st and the middle one must be in contact.
also could happen that the screw that fixes the switch get loose due to the vibes and you just have to tighten it.
wish you find the easy one.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.
