It is tripping motor starting on load and tripping

If the pump turns easily by hand and trips breaker, most likely the start capacitor is weak or bad. If the pump is hard to turn by hand then problem is most likely the in-tank check valve is leaking pressure back to the pump causing the motor to overload. If the pump turns easily by hand and the check valve is good and capacitors are good, then use amp gauge to verify overload, if amp gauge shows normal amp draw then most likely weak reset button. Good luck

The pump went off.display shows power stopped,.I can't restart pump. How can i do?

most likely the pump has tripped the motor overload - there should be a button on the motor that once pressed should reset the overload - should it trip a 2nd time call in a spakey

Is there a reset button on a Pentair Dynamo pump?

there is no reset button, that you can manually press to reset it. There is an internal "thermal overload switch", which is an automatic reset. So if your pump motor is overheating, it will turn off, but once it cools down enough, it will reset automatically.
some styles of the Dynamo, have a toggle switch at the back underneath, which is simply an on and off switch.

Goulds pump model BGR75 won't reset. Any tips.

If the motor runs but keeps tripping the overload, the motor is bad or the motor is under a big load. Does it pump water? If not, check the impeller and see if there is anything wrong with it. If it does pump water and the motor trips overload, the only thing left to check is the overload. Check the motor's amp draw and if within specs, replace overload. If amps are too high, replace motor.

Have a SSR-EP100 air compressor that shows

Try to reset the main motor and fan motor over loads by pushing the reset on the overload it self, Then reset the controller. If the error resets, before starting. put a clamp on amp meter on to L1 or L3 motor lead which is located in the compressor electrical box . Then start and observe amps when unit is making air fully loaded. Once you know how many amps at full load the unit is pulling ,look at the overload setting on main motor overload and see if it is approxmately 10 amps above the max amps being pulled. If not set it about 10 amps above your max load amps.

We have a 100 ton press electric motor an a hydraulic pump. You have to hold in on the reset to make motor run.

The overload switch may have failed. Does the motor stop if you let go of the reset? If the motor (single phase) has a capacitor start, the capacitor may have failed partially which will cause overload because the motor just sits and hums without turning. If this is a three-phase motor, the overload button should shut off the motor starter which directly removes power to the motor. Don't jury-rig a switch to bypass the problem. Hope this helps!

The breaker in the motor keeps kicking on and off, is the reset

I'm assuming that you're pushing in the red button to reset it to restart the motor? Check to see what the air pressure is when the compressor shuts off. If it's higher that rated, then perhaps lowering the pressure will prevent the motor overload. If you have an amp meter, check the amp reading and compare it to the amp rating on the motor nameplate.

There is power to the pump, but the pump will not come on. It has a pressure switch, the contacts are making contact, but the motor doesn't run. what should i check for?

Sometimes around the area of the motor there is a little button that is usually red that is made to "trip" if the pump got hot or overloaded. Push this button back in to reset if it has on. Most pumps have this button to keep them from burning up if overloaded.
