How to repair cracked housing on a Philips sonicare airfloss

I've sadly dropped my airfloss and cracked the lower housing. I think that the plastic is ABS. Any recommendations on what to repair it with? Does anyone know how to take it apart? You can see the unit here http://www.philips.co.uk/e/oralhealthcare/consumer/cons-range-interdental.html

Superglue comes to mind. Sadly, I don't know how to take it apart.

1. With the remote control, turn on the player. Keep the tray closed.
2. Press SETUP and use the buttons LEFT or RIGHT (arrows) to go to the Preferences Page.
3. Type 138931 and a screen will appear on TV.
4. Use the buttons UP/DOWN (arrows) to change the region code to 0 (zero), then press OK.
5. Turn off the player and turn on again.

OR

open lid; slowly press 9,9,9,9, then 0. will show region 0 on screen for maybe 2 seconds , shut lid & you are done!

One of these 2 should work. If one does post back which one please.

It will not. The US models will only play Region 1 or Region ALL DVD's, and the UK is a different region entirely. There are illegal hacks to make it work, but since it is illegal, I will not post the directions here. Suffice it to say that there are videos on YouTube that show you the illegal method. Good luck!

How do I get help with my Philips Sonicare toothbrush, it runs when I am not using it, how is that possible?

There is probably no fix for it, as it is not made to be repaired; if it malfunctions, you are supposed to discard it and get a new one.
However, it is likely the problem is in the switch of the toothbrush.
It may have some foreign matter inside that is causing the contacts to close when not in use, and that its why it is turning on all by itself. If you want to try something to fix it, I would get a tank of compressed air and a blower and try blowing the air into and around the off/on switch.
It might fix it, or it might destroy it.

The problem is either a corroded circuit board or worn-out Ni-Cad batteries. Both repair solutions require soldering, but full repair is possible.

I have purchased a Sonicare Airfloss 100series. I have tried toremove the nozzle per what I believe is the instructions but pulling straight up meets a substantial lamount of resistance and I am concerned...

Yes, it is a little stiff but it will pull right out. When you click the tip back in, it can face in or out. The best position is facing out, away from the button.

Tiny crack in lower right hand corener of the screen can this be fixed or repaired by a professional? IF you have any suggestions or comments fell free to leave them at heathmcguff@ymail.com or call 2

if the crack does not affect picture quality then it's only cosmetic, and you can use Krazy glue or a 5min epoxy to fill it in.

If however the crack does affect picture quality, then you could look into a repair center for repair and get an estimate. If the estimate will be over $100 then you may want to think about buying a new LCD tv.

Most LCD tv's have very small and long lightbulbs at the top and bottom. In the middle back are the electronics....The screen itself is made up of many layers of specialized plastics.

So if you dropped it on a hard surface, and in the future the screen turns dark on you at some point while on, then one or more of the bulbs would've been damaged.
