SOURCE: LG Wm0642H door seal problem

I replaced the seal on my mother-in-laws LG washer last month. The seal has 2 bands. One that the attaches to the drum, and one that attaches to the front of the washer. The hardest part about replacing the seal, is gaining access to the seal. Once you gain access to the seal, it can be a little tricky getting the bands back on, because you have limited area to work. There is no special tool or tricks to get it back on, just persistance.

Hi,
The door can be readjusted...
Just loosen the screws on the hinge side...move the door to re-alinge it and then re-tighten the screws...that should help the door to shut easier...make sure that someone did not hang on the door and spring/bend the door hinge....You may have to replace the hinge if that is the case....sometimes small children think that things like that are their own personal playground...

SOURCE: LG washer leak

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

My LG front load washer won't drain model#WM2050CW how can I fix that?

If the washer won't drain water the drain pump might be defective. It's also common for a small sock or other article of clothing to get caught in the drain pump or in the drain hose. Check both for an obstruction before replacing the pump.

We have a LG WM2050CW and today after it went the rinse cycle it drained all over the basement floor, underneath the washer and then came out of the door.

sounds like you might have a broken hose or a loose hose. remove the back panel from the unit and inspect the plumbing. also -- while you are doing the inspection - pull the pump screen/drain plug and clean out any debris that might be in there ( you will need to do this sometime anyway ).
if you are still having troubles -- please feel free to write me back here and I will do my best to walk you through it.

I have an LG WM2050CW washer and I cannot get it to fill with water. I have checked the filters in the back and they are clean, I have checked the hoses and they are functioning. I get a buzz from the back...

Have you checked the selonoid valve? It's the piece that your hoses connect to. The part isn't that expensive when you compare it to a new machine. I changed one several years ago on a Whirlpool and I think it was around $15-20.
