I have a leak in the pipe which runs inside the freezer door from the bottom to the dispenser. is it possible to replace this pipe?

Are the water inlet / outlet correctly fitted onto the filter ??
Sounds silly - but very easy mistake seen several times.
Is the water supply for the filter turned on . . remove hoses from filter to verify. - YOU WILL GET WET.

There can be many reasons for no water supply. Line feeding the refrigerator is clogged or blocked. The water control valve that turns water to ice maker and dispenser is defective or the water filter located inside your refrigerator is in need of change. Spray a good quantity of WD-40 on the spindle of the fan motor where it enters the motor itself. This should get the fan working smoothly with no noise. This will probably solve the other problems, as the fan prevents various components from overheating and shutting down.
