Sorry ,dodge doesn't have one ! No fuel pressure ? Can you hear the fuel pump run ? , check the ASD relay in under hood fuse / relay box . ASD - auto shut down relay supply's power to fuel pump relay an to ignition system an O2 heaters .
Hi Geralidine Sounds like your pump is "air bound"...meaning that the impeller housing of the pump is full of air, and it cannot pump water. Try bleeding the air out of the pump and put a positive pressure (garden hose pressure) and make sure that you shut the airbleed valve off after you start to pump. Please take time to rate me Bud
sounds like fuel pump relay. next time it want start pull the ecm bat fuse for a few seconds see if it will crank then. knock sensor will not cause this. ecm bat fuse it works the fuel pump relay, fuel pump, injectors, ignition system an the pcm. also the oil pressure switch will shut down the fuel pump if oil pressure drops below recommended pressure . check the connectors on these things that not loose or corrioded.i think you will find the fuel pump relay is what this relay is the problem. this relay maybe in dash or under hood in the relay box.
SOUND LIKE FUEL PUMP NOT RUNNING.CHECK FUEL PUMP FUSE AND RELAY IN FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD LEFT SIDE OF THE UPPER STRUT HOUSING OR NEAR THE BATTERY..IF FUSE AND RELAY IS GOOD.FUEL PUMP FAULTY.YOUR FUEL PRESSURE IS SUPPOSE TO BE 64 - 74 PSI.IF FUEL PRESSURE IS STILL LOW REPLACE FUEL FILTER FIRST.IF FUEL PRESSURE STILL LOW FUEL PUMP IS FAULTY.
Sounds more like a fuel pump problem ,but iam often wrong,on the older models i have found the rubber connecting hose inside the tank that connects the pump to the outlet on the fuel gauge unit perishes and the fuel pressure drops giving the symptoms you describe
SOUND LIKE THE ELECTRIC LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP CHECK FUSE TO SEE IF PUMP GETTING POWER. IF NOT REPLACE FUSE AND CHECK THE WIRE TO PUMP.IF PUMP IS GETTING POWER..REPLACE FUEL FILTER FIRST.IF IT DONT HELP.COULD BE THE ELECTRIC LOW PRESSURE PUMP. FAULTY. IT PUMPS DIESEL FUEL IT INTO INJECTION PUMP TO BE PRESSURIZED TIMED AND INJECT.SEE IF LOW PRESSURE PUMP DONT WORK THE WHOLE ENGINE WONT RUN.THE INJECTION PUMP NEED FUEL FROM LOW PRESSURE ELECTRIC PUMP TO RUN ENGINE.
hello,ok your fuel pump is working, hoping fuel pressure is also good, how about your ignition system, try to start your engine, then remove your spare plug, determine the condition, have fuel in plug?if yes try to check your ignition side, first check your excees voltage protection, located in fuse box(with aluminuim housing with fuse on top) ,,ty
