Bought a condo with 2 Hampton Bay ceiling fans with lights. Previous owner did not supply the remotes. Where can I get a remote without having to replace the base. The fans work with the light switch but the the lights are off.

The remote is a Hampton Bay remote that should dim the light and fan on and off. I replaced the battery and do not have a red light when I press the button. Light and fan does not turn off with remote.

You can ask electricion to wire the remote control for you.
