The yellow shield icon that pops up by the wireless connection what does it mean
It either means you have limited or no connectivity, in which case you should reset the router/wireless access point you are connected to, by powering it off and then powering it back on after 1 minute. Otherwise it simply means the wireless network you are connected to, or can see on the wireless network list, is unencrypted and any data you send over that network can in fact be viewed by someone else provided that they have the tools for it.
