Probably the washing pump does not start.
This could be a problem of the pump or the control unit.
You can find a free service manual here:

Good luck!

SOURCE: My Hotpoint BF1620 not getting rid of water

I would assume the culprit is the glass in the pump housing. Taking out the pump is a teadious and time consuming task but can be done. Varies from model to model. Usually when hard debris gets into these pumps, unless there metal, it demolishes the plastic impeller blades and the pump must be replaced. If you wish t tackle this let me know ^_^ ill find you a new pump n the net fr the cheapest price if needed. Try taking the punp out first and cleaning it out as much as possible and let me know !

I've just (as of 10 minutes ago) had the same problem. I followed the advice given elsewhere in this forum and removed the bottom cover - water running out so needed a big towel to mop it up. I stood the machine upright and restarted it - no problem! it started straight away.
The question now is where is the water coming from? It seems there is obviously a leak somewhere and water is gathering in the undertray setting off the microswitch.

Hello Burmanator,
I had to call a angineer in the end.If your problem still going on.You can try what engineer did it.Turn the dishwasher on and press the program end button (quick wash and normal wash button in the same time). you should hear a pump out water sound.Wait until finish and display 0 again.Than swich off the machine.wait little bit than turn it on again and press a program button. If your problem is over fload device activated like mine. You shoud hear to begin working and getting water in.
It cost me £40 to bring the angineer in and press these two button.5 min.job.Good luck
I hope this information help you.

SOURCE: HOTPOINT DISHWASHER FDW60

Hi,

I have just had my dishwasher fixed by Hotpoint, as the heater was working and the dishwasher only stopped with the fast and delicate lights just before the drying process he replaced the main control board. This has solved the problem, I suspected the fault to be the thermistor as the heater seemed to be getting to hot but I had no idea where it was.

It turns out the thermistor is attached to the main control board and hangs down behind the front door that gives just a rough temperature level for the main control board.

As it's soldered directly onto the control board I would suggest replacing the whole control pcb for anyone with this fault unless you can find any spec details for the thermistor.

Hello J Arnott,

Sorry to say I'm here in the USA.. and I could not easily get a similarly designed model to reveal itself (for me) to gain a better understanding of your Hotpoint LFT114... (nor could I pull a FREE copy of your user manual (without registering or otherwise exposing myself to cyber-freaks (sorry)).

Regardless of the specifics.. suffice it to day your machine is NEW enough to be quite visible and relevant...
I looked over the LFT114 HA... Display board... £42.93
(there are many LFT114

And your trouble description was quite excellent in detailing
as SEQUENCE failure of your control modules...

Although it is possible to repair these things ... it seems you have several PCBs (printed circuit boards)... replacement is usually the first best GUESS (looking at the back () side would not hurt anything)...

I have rescued many a circuit board by simply "de-soldering"...
then re-soldering a connection...
(special care, skill & tools required... not tough nor expensive).

You description and troubles indicated the beeps & lights missing: is a clear indictment of your "DISPLAY board"...

A reminder... don't touch any PCB you value without first grounding your hands (professionals use STATIC WRIST STRAPS... CHEAP (unlike circuit boards) & available EVERYWHERE).

Also... Take lots of pictures of EXACTLY WHERE every wire comes from... (look them over BEFORE you get in trouble).
Be patient & FORCE nothing.

and of course... be safe (REMOVE POWER).

Comment me back BEFORE you guess wrong... (I'll try to help) .

Leaking and fan stops then starts?

Don't know if this will help but our fridge was leaking and then I noticed there was ice at the bottom and it was clogging a drain hole so the water ran out on the floor in front of the fridge. I chipped out the ice, melted the drain hole and slightly raised the fridge temp so the ice would not re-form on the bottom and it worked. - no idea about the fan.

Leaking water at the discharge line/selinoid???

If it is coming out the bottom of the door (ie around the bottom seal, it may be the dish washing powder. Had this issue on one machine and simply changing back to the one the manufacturer recommend stopped the puddles forming. I think it is due to the power being too sudsy and creating excess bubbles

Check the level of the machine, may be leaning slightly forward allowing water to leak on that one fill cycle. Lift the front a little by using the adjustable feet and see if it stops.

My refrigerator is leaving a puddle on the floor

Hi. The drain pan should be removed and cleaned at least once a year. The drain pan is located at the bottom of the refrigerator behind the front grill. Remove the grill, which snaps into place. Grasp the drain pan while pulling slightly upward and forward.

Clean the pan with warm soapy water or warm water and baking soda.

If the pan rattles when it is replaced, it is too close to the compressor. Simply reposition the tray.

If you have an ice-maker/dispenser, check the water supply hose going into and coming out of the water inlet valve. The hoses may be loose here, in return, causing the puddle you have discovered.

HotPoint Model CTX18BASWRAD S/N SL533826 Occasionally find a puddle in front of the refrig. Usually when we put new groceries in. Refrigerator is performing good. Where can the water be coming from? Thanks

The door being open in humid warm air for awhile loading groceries and the warmer humid groceries in the fridge. It's condensation inside the door from the humidity dripping out through the weep holes in the bottom of the door around the gasket

Water under side by side hotpoint

You can deal with it once for all by pouring warm water into the drain pipe to clear any blocks and sopping it off with a sponge..
