Question about Kodak EasyShare Z981 Digital Camera
Did you install the Kodak Easy Share software that came with your camera, to the computer?
On that CD are all drivers any computer could need, if the operating system itself does not have them.
If you don't have the software, try to download it from Kodak. Could be they want you to connect the camera first or you have the make an account with a model number and serial number.
