Can we assume the camera is built in to the monitor? No mater where the camera is you need a software app to actually use the camera. Have you tried installing Skype, it has a good camera test.

How to download photos from ex-z60 to laptop or desktop pc

connect the usb cable to your pc and camera, turn on the camera, select PC from the menu that comes up on the camera. now on your computer, open my computer from your desktop or from start menu, find the camera drive, if you are not sure which one it is, turn the camera off, press f5 on the my computer window and see what dissapears, then turn the camera back on, and press f5 again now what appears again, thats the camera drive. inside you will find folders and your pictures in one of the folders, you can copy them to your computer or print from there. best to copy them all to your computer, right click on the folder and select copy, then go to any place on your computer for example my pictures then right click on empty space and select paste.

Cant download to desktop

there are 2 main ways to download photos from your digital camera too your desktop:
1. connect the camera to the desktop via USB cable, this cable is usually supplied with the camera or can be bought at an electrical store, connect the camera to the computer and turn it on, if your using windows OS a dialouge box or list should appear giving you a number of options, choose either "import photos using windows" or "view photos in folder" use the second one to choose which photos you wish to be uploaded and then copy and paste them manually into your own destination folder.
2. instead of connecting the camera to the desktop, take out the memory stick being used in the camera , (SD card) and either use an memory card reader(hardware that connects to desktop) or slot it into the memory card slot in the front or back of your desktop tower. once connected follow the same steps as above when the dialouge box appears.
hope this helps you out, it hard to explain without showing. :) good luck

Downloading photos

Digital cameras have often an USB cable, which you connect between your camera and USB interface at your computer. Turn on the camera and your computer recognize the camera and install it as a drive. You can then transfer your photos from camera to the computer.

D70 doesn't appear on Mac desktop

This is easily solved.
Most probably the camera's USB connection mode is set to PTP. This is useful for certain situations such as controlling the camera from the computer (you even take photos from OS X's built in Image Transfer).
Change this to "Mass Storage" in the camera settings menu and your camera will behave just like a card reader. Next time you connect it to the computer, plug it it, then turn it on and it will appear on the desktop and in the sidebar as an attached drive.
Don't forget to eject it before disconnecting just as you would an ordinary external drive.

Unable to unload pictures from camera to computer

I've never used a "program" to download my photos, and I've been able to download them on any computer whatsoever. Plug the mini-B into the camera, then plug the USB into your desktop while it is off. Turn the camera on with the switch in View mode. Turn your computer on. Go to Windows explorer or My Computer. Your camera should show up as if it were a data drive with an icon of a camera. Double click that icon and you can view photos at will. Right click any photo to save, or use pull down menus above to save multiple photos at once to other drives.
