Viking Husqvarna Model 6020 stitch selector will not turn.

look at the cam gear. This is the unit that the cam connects to. It could have a crack or be split completely. If there is a crack the cam stack will have to be replaced. The parts are hard to get and a good technician is needed.

How do I change the foot on my Viking model 120...can't find my manual and have used the same foot for years.

Hi. I found some illustrations of your model machine on the Husqvarnai Viking web site. (http://www.husqvarnaviking.com) From the pictures, it looks like your machine has what they call snap-on pressure feet.
Pressure feet either attach via a small thumbscrew on the left side of the pressure bar or there is a little device on the back of the pressure bar (usually itself held in place by a thumbscrew) that uses a 'claw' to hold the pressure foot on. This is what it looks like your machine has. To release the 'claw' that is holding the foot, there should be a small lever or button on the back side of the pressure bar. Press that, and the 'claw' will release the foot. To 'snap-on' the foot again, place the foot under the pressure bar and lower it.
I've posted some photos at www.robbiesews.blogspot.com that may help. They're of my Kenmore, but the idea's the same.
Let me know if this helps, ok?
Happy Sewing!!

Pressure foot too high cannot be lowered

sounds like the pressure foot lifter is stuck. Usually the height of the pressure foot is a manual adjustment done by a service technician. Suggest that it be serviced by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

Can't put a bobbin on the winder Husqvana Viking 6020

Is this a Designer 1 or a #1? There is no moving lever on the pin of a Deigner 1,they are fixed. If it's a #1, use sewing machine oil or Triflow. NEVER use 3 in 1 oil. It will gum up and cause problems later on.

Need to buy spare part: Thread take up lever for Husqvarna Viking Model 6020. Traveled on airplane and inspectors broke my machine!

start trying viking dealers or ebay this machine is no longer supported by viking and is NLA on all parts so your best bet is a dealer that might have a junk one for scrap parts

My Viking 5710 starts to sew without any pressure on foot pedal

Mine does the exact same thing. I think the problem might lie in the cord to the foot pedal. The cord packs into the foot pedal for storage, which forces the cord to to remain bent during storage. I believe the wires in mind became damaged and broken so I took it apart and reconnected the wires at the spot where the connector meets with the wires. But I still don't leave it plugged in if I'm not using it, it could be a fire hazard.

Someone gave me a machine

Kelly,

I found the Instruction Manual for the 6000 Series machines (6010 and 6020) on www.sewusa.com available for purchase: $15 including shipping.

Additionally, the site says they will post a FREE Threading Diagram for any machine for which they have the manual. You need only make the request through their email link on that site. They already have posted Threading Diagrams for several Viking machines, however the 6020 is not yet posted. I emailed a request tonight. Hopefully they will get it posted soon.

Let me know if there's anything more I can do to help.

Sounds like the feeding unit is stuck rather than the button. The reverse button engages the feeding unit. Suggest that it be serviced by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.
