You need to stipulate your operating system is it linux or XP if linux then just do a restore as all the drivers are on a separate disk partition. If you have changed it to XP it is possible that the webcam drivers wont work anyway and you will have to contact the manufacturer

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

When a wanna to make a video call with skype my webcam dont work

You probably need to install the drivers for your webcam.

Check on Asus's website:
http://usa.asus.com/Eee/

There are a lot of different specific Asus Eee PC models, so be sure to select the right one. Once you find the right model number and go to its page, there should be a download section that includes various drivers. Download and install the webcam drivers.

Hi you can try updating your webcam drivers from the page below.

If this page do not solve the problem try installing a webcamera program on the pc like "youcam" , this could make your camera work.

Webcam driver

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"

I hope that would help :-)
