For a lack of what it is called from what I understand the volume on the stereo is supposed to get louder at certain time while you are driving. Well the volume just goes up and down for no apparent reason. Is there a way to disable this feature? This is in a 1992 Cadillac Devile, Thanks. Jim

Beside the volume knob there is writing that should say "auto vol" and a control that look like a speaker fader control. That turns the sensitivity up or down. Or, if you have a Driver information center, hit menu and arrow right until you see auto volume and turn it "off" Without knowing the exact model # of your radio, that's about the best answer I can give.If that doesn't work, call the cadi parts dept, give them the last 6 numbers of your vehicle id number and they can get the exact model # of your radio to you. If you post another comment I can find the Pdf on your radio and get the exact answer for you. Hope this helps

How do I increase the volume in my oven alarm

Best bet would be to call an electrician and say specifically:

'Can you install a louder alarm in my oven'

You'll get asked about what brand and model it is, but what you can tell them is "Put another mains voltage alarm in parallel with the existing alarm"

If they don't understand that, call another company.

The volume on our E67 series tv will not go past a certain level. how can i fix that?

It is true that you won't start to hear this television's volume increasing until the volume level passes 10. Then it gets louder until the volume level gets to 30 then between 30 and 60 it doesn't get any louder. This is the nature of this particular television. You can go into the audio category of the menu and increase the treble and the bass. Listen to the television with surround on and then off to see which one is louder. Connect the television to a sound bar.

After a television is a year or two old it may start to degrade naturally so you might benefit from being walked through an INIT. Call 877-332-7867 to be walked through one and the television may sound louder after it is complete.

Cannot increase the volume of my phone

Can you clarify. I understand you are unable increase the volume but does it say the volume is already up? If this is the case look to see if something is blocking the hole the sound travels through.

If you are unable to figure out how to increase the volume, try doing it while on a call. Some phones only allow the volume to be increased while on a call.

If you have additional info just reply.

Good Luck

I need my volume to be magnify

You need to know what operating system your PC use. This is a simple steps to make more louder the sound in Windows XP system:
  1. Click [Start] menu, choose [Settings] and then click [Control Panel], finally chose [Sounds and Audio Devices]
  2. On tab [Volume] od Sound and Audio Devices Properties, move Device Volume Control slider from "Low" to "High" position.
  3. Click [Apply] at lower right most corner part of the panel
  4. Click [OK]
  5. The volume has become louder
Note: I think, adding a pair of stereo active speaker is the simple way instead of getting more louder sound of the PC's sound card.
