Look for any loose solder terminals at the base card PWB. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more
details. Click this link. View it in
"Timeslide" or "Timeslide" option, which can be selected
from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner
of the display window. It will make search
easy. There are more than 1250 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older
posts there.
You will find the base should either slot into a rear or uderside section of the TV & is then screwed into the fixing or will have a rear flat part on the back of the TV which again should be screwed in for support.
Most Protron and Ultra branded bases can be easily removed by just unscrewing them. Just a few simple screws and it should come right off. May need to flip it over and just take a look at where it's screwed into the TV itself. Hope this helps!
