Coffee stopped brewing well, coffee now brews weak. Even with increased coffee grounds. Clean button won't turn off. Even after 2 clean cycles.

Chances are there are built up scales inside the brewer. Are you using regular water? If so, you may have to descale it. Look for a food safe descaling chemical which you may have to flush with clean water in several cycles. Another solution is to take it apart and clean it. Problem is, you have to be skilled to do this.

Set the timer to start brewing, i have always done this with no problem till now

Could be the brewing mechanism or the timer. However, if you get the action you describe on BREW NOW, I am inclined to think the brewer has failed.

My Mr Coffee ADX20 coffee maker does not boil the water through any more. I would assume the main heating unit is bad. How do I replace the main heating unit?

You might have scale that formed on the heating element. This happens to all heating elements due to impurities in the water. I would try cleaning it a couple times to see if it helps first! Clean the mineral deposits from your coffeemaker every 80 brew cycles if you have soft water and every 40 cycles if yours is hard water. About once a month is good for a coffee maker. Pour four cups of undiluted white vinegar in the water reservoir. Place a paper filter into the removable filter basket, close the lid. Go through a brew cycle with decanter in place. Turn the coffeemaker OFF after THREE cups of vinegar have entered the decanter. Let set 30 minutes. Turn machine on and let rest of vinegard run through. Discard filter and vinegar solution, rinse. If this doesn't help the element is probably bad and from everything I have heard Mr. Coffee doesn't have't replacement parts for consumers. They only sell to "Authorized" repair shops. With that being said I have heard if you call the Service number 1-800-672-6833, and talk to an human operator, not the machine, they have sent out new units because of this problem. If that doesn't help Coffee makers are usually throw away items, I have recently purchased a pretty nice Mr. Coffee one from Costco for $30. Kohl's had one the looked a little different but all the same features for $55. So for like $30 you can get a new one, where if you could find an heating element it would be probably around $20. Just saying!

I forgot to put water into my Mr. Coffee for a minute. When I realized it, I shut it off and poured in the water. When I restarted, it did not heat or brew.

All coffee makers use a thermal fuse which opens (interrupts) at a specific temperature, generally somewhere above boiling point and do not reset when cool.

They are designed to prevent fires if the thermal switch which cycles the heater fails and the heating element heats beyond its normal operating temperature.

These Chinese devices are poorly made and unpredictable in performance.

They are not user-replaceable since they are spot-welded on both ends; the only possibility is the replacement of the pre-assembled heating element/thermal switch/thermal fuse which will likely cost close or equal to the price of a new machine if at all available.

Remove sprayhead and pour water into tank until it flows from the brew tube, then replace sprayhead and brew coffee.

When I put 12 cups of water in the container, only 8 cups brew. Also, it takes 30-40 min. I ran vinegar through it twice and am getting the same results.

the coils are super heating, and condensation of your water is vanishing faster than it's brewing. It sounds like your coffee pot is ready to go to mr coffee heaven

Coffee not brewing

This machine depends on heat to move the water to the top. The heating element, or thermal fuse, or burned contacts are the usual suspects. The warmer under the coffee pot is not part of the coffee making process. It is repairable.
