Question about Pentair White/Gray Legend Platinum Automatic Pool Cleaner - Ll105pm
Back wheels will not sit on the bottom of the pool, moves very slowly and just won't work.
Sounds like there is a restriction somewhere. Places to look are the Wall Fitting Screen, make sure that is clean. The Debris bag, and the black cone shape valve, should also be checked for blockage.
Check for leaks in the hose also. You shold check the Float also, if it has water in it, that needs to be replaced. Wear on the tires can cause this also, check them, too. Those are the EASY fixes.
If none of those, then the blockage may be INSIDE the unit. If you have a manual, look at the Product Breakdown and Parts page. If you do not have a manual, this link will take you to one online:
The page you will need to look at is page 15, on the online manual, Exploded View. Any of the internal small hoses, like #10 and #11, can be blocked. Any of the small elbow turns, like the one part #10 connects to, can be blocked. Also, on the tube that the Ballast Float connects to there are small elbows that can cause this issue. LOTS of little parts and places to look for a piece of debris that is cause the cleaner to not work properly.
