SOURCE: what is the routing of the fuel lines for a poulan

This is an ongoing issue for users, and rightfully so. Small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then pushes any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Years ago on 2-stroke trimmers, primers were not even used,...you choked the carb with a slide lever and gravity let fuel enter the carb from above...a few pulls, a "pop"...slide it off of choke and away you went.
If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank.

How to clean a poulan 250 A chain saw carburator

VERY CAREFULLY! If you break or split any gaskets getting it apart, you're stuffed. If you lose the needle spring, you're stuffed. Once fully dis-assembled all ports can be accessed with a fine wire, however don't poke it through the holes in round discs in the bottom- these are one-way valves. Usually there will be gelled oil in the fuel inlet elbow. Fine wire should get around there, then blow out with air compressor. Be sure to check the bottom diaphragm for pin-holes, and blow out the LO/HI jet holes.

How do you repair a Bolens push mower that's leaking gas out of the carborator?

You will need to rebuild the carb sounds like the float is sticking and allowing the gas to keep flowing. The needle vale is probably sticking. Check around the carb first to be sure it not coming from the line that feeds the carb before taking it off.

I need to know how to set hight and low on the carborator

Make sure choke is fully open, then run engine at full speed adjust high jet with a screwdriver - what you do is turn jet one way until revs drop of and then the other way until revs drop off - what you want is the middle point between this happening. Do the same for low jet except run engine at idel speed.

Carborator overfilling the bowl gas bubbling

Your float is stuck open and needs to be set, a piece of dirt gets in there and holds the float open, sometimes it is just too high. You can take the top of the carb off and set it. check out the valve while you are in there. Hope this helps.

How to set carborator adjustment on Poulan Wild Thing 2375?

hello, the starting point for adjustment screws is 2 turns out.turn in til lightly seated so as not to damage them. there are 2 or more style carbs used on saw, some have plastic caps that need to be removed(a small metal screw used as a corkscrew or pry off) or you need a special tool -splined.set high spped til runs good and back off an 1/8-1/4 turn so you dont burn it up. fine tune low spped so it accelerates when trigger squeezed and re check high speed adjustment.single screw is for idle spped-raises or lowers-if chain turns while at idle back off screw.

Where do I find the carborator and how do I clean it?

The carburator should be located under the air filter. When you remove the air filter, get some carburator cleaner and spray carb and linkage. Also check the condition of your air filter and clean or replace if dirty. The foam type can be cleaned with warm water and detergent. Dry thoroughly before putting back in. Hope this helps and good luck.
