you will need to get the pci expansion slot for desktop computer, you dont need a usb for that unless you want to convert your pci to usb connector.

It's one of two problems: bad power supply, or bad motherboard. If you are electro-mech inclined, remove the power supply. Take it to your local computer repair shop, and ask for one just like that one.
Reinstall, power up should (most of the time) fix this problem. If still no power, you need a new mb. Return to the shop, ask them to replace mb. This repair should be right around $250.0 - tops. Any more than that - replace computer.
