Problem for HP Digital Projector Vp6120 Multimedia Projector

I have a Hewlitt packard vp6120. The projector turns on and goes into the main hp logo screen and counts down from 15 then the bulb stops projecting. On top of the projector the overheating LED is flashing as well as the power button. The manual says that if the overheating LED is flashing then it is a fan issue, but all fans are working. Could shed some light on what else it could be.

Look for any loose connectors on the top board, especially the white or yellow sense wires for each fan. I have just fixed this fault in one I have here.

It's likely to be a Dirty filter. You may be able to clean it from the outside with a vacuum cleaner. If you can remove it, so much the better, as you may want to wash it out (gently) and/or vacuum (gently also, since it won't likely have the louvers on it that the housing does, and the media could get sucked out.) If that doesn't do it, let me know.
