I took photos during the Boston Marathon. Which I ran. Big deal for me. Downloaded software. Can't get photos. Driver issue. Please let me know if anyone can help.

I'm really mad! Mine did come with software, but that doesnt help when it keeps saying "cannot download blah blah to file folder dah dah" or "cnnot connect to camera". Also before I used the disk, my CD crive was broken, so I emailed Vivitar to find out about the drivers, and they never even answered me! I guess a $9 purchase has no value, well I'm not going to spen anything on any of their products now.
There are some drives floating around on the web, but none worked for me. This sucks! Sorry!

WARNING! do not replace the battery before you DL your pics. I posted the above Solution#3, and am more angry now!
I got it wo work at work, Running Windows XP, doesn't seem to work with XP Pro. I replaced the battery and lost all my pictures, the only reason i bought this stupid thing.
plus side, it works.

The software came with my camera, received as a Christmas gift (no doubt a "regift"). The drivers and software work fine on XP but as soon as you finally get to see a picture taken with that camera you will likely toss it out or "regift" it yourself.
